Points for creativity shrink, but I would need at least 3 first round picks attached to take that tobias harris contract, and I don't think philly is giving nearly enough or Houston is getting enough. If they trade Harden, I foresee PJ Tucker headed to a contender for a late 1st round pick.

With Juan Hernangómez, Ed Davis, and Jake Layman, the Minnesota Timberwolves have $15.26MM in salary matching at the trade deadline ($8.76MM without Hernangómez that can be traded before the trade deadline). There are a multitude of avenues the team can explore to fill the massive hole at Power-Forward.

If a James Harden trade goes down, there is no question in my mind that Minnesota will get involved with a PJ Tucker team, if the team has Playoff aspirations.

PJ Tucker would be a huge mistake if something good is given in exchange tbh. In few months he turns 36 years old and he wasn't good last season. Also we will still lacking height.

This exactly how I feel about Tucker. Would he be a good fit for the current roster? Absolutely...but I’m not sending a player like Culver or Okogie to HOU for a guy that has no future there post Harden.

Now if HOU would accept Juancho or Layman, get it done.

I know people are down on PJ Tucker because of his age, and I agree he would not be the final PF for this team. However, his game fits really well, and he would allow the rest of the team to play their systems correctly, preparing for when we eventually do find the right PF.

And I wouldn’t mind the wins in the meantime. That’s something else PJ can teach the young Wolves.

I would not offer a first round pick (or Mcdaniels or Bolmaro). My offer for an old player that might be over the hill like Tucker is Layman, Juan, nowell and salary filler(Davis)

Don't think you're being irrational at all tbh. Effective two way wing players are worth their weight in gold in this league and Culver's beginning to show signs that he could potentially be one. I'd be handing on to him unless we got an offer that we'd be stupid to refuse.

Yes, Juancho is soft and we should bring RHJ back, but...

No need to trade Okogie or other assets just to “check a box”, as Rosas says.

Keep the team rebounding going. I feel like it motivates and engages the team. A lot of guys are flying around on D and to rebound. I like it.

Use Ed Davis if you need size.

I actually wanna see Jaylen play when Beasley gets suspended. Jaylen was freakishly good in the preseason and could be another Beasley in a few seasons. I’d offer Vanderbilt, Jauncho and two seconds for Tucker. Really wish Rosass had not given away a second in the Ed Davis deal smh.

Agree, but at the same time, all teams have negative/neutral assets... we just have to swap spit with someone to better fit each teams needs. I’m not ready to dump guys like McDaniels and Bolmaro as fillers in minor swap moves.

I don’t think Tucker should be that expensive. Wolves don’t need someone that great or expensive just someone that is better than trash. I am so disappointed in Jauncho.

Someone like Aminu or Bjelica could be worthwhile for a cheaper easy to get option. If all we're going to be trading is our scraps.
