How are you guys liking A-Pok so far? He's the player who I thought had the highest potential in the draft. He's looked pretty good so far, he's actually further along than I thought he'd be out of the gate.

Markkanen is the legit seven footer and Pokusevski looked taller than him to me, just to put away theory that Pokusevski is shorter than Lyles and Aldridge.

I still thought it looked questionable. Maybe it's because he's so thin and I'm watching these games on a **** stream that my eyes are playing tricks on me. He looks closer to 6'10" to me.

I am telling you , he's 7 foot tall , and even if he wasn't , if he was 6'11 or 6'10 thats still good height for the wing and PF, but he needs to put some weight somehow in the future.

Today is Aleksej's birth day, I hope he makes his debut tonight and at least score the point or two :)

Cole Anthony looking intriguing
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Rough game for Poku. Loved the block/steal though. He's learning to use his length.

Our offense Is 14 points worse with him on, but defense is 19 points better.

Teams he's played against:
Cha
Orl
Nola
NYK
Brk
Utah

Brooklyn is the only one not in the bottom 20 offensively (and they were shorthanded), and outside of Utah the rest are 24+ with bad benches.

Not to be too much of a downer, but the offensive problems are clearly largely because of how bad he'd been, and I don't believe the defense is performing well because of him.

I dunno if this has mentioned before but Pokusevski only played like 300 minutes of professional ball over 3 pre NBA seasons. That can be taken different ways ultimately. But it Is incredibly light prior experience.

He may legitimately be the worst offensive basketball player of any first round pick ever

Seeing him attack the basket is encouraging.

Pokusevski went from horrendous in NBA to horrendous in G league to amazing in G league (at least on highlight reel). Couple steps to go... but I think it has good chance of working now.

Pokusevski's "game" is mostly on ball, mostly open court. That is where the highlights were coming, along with some half court plays with bad to no defense. I am glad to see highlights; but, on second look, need to remind myself about context and the difference between that context and typical context. It does suggest things about when / how and with whom he should play.

The vipers don't have a player over 6'9 on their roster. May have contributed to his willingness to go to the basket.
