Let's see how intense the defense is in a game with no spotlight. Charlotte isn't good but they have some firepower on offense.

Hey everybody, let's remember to give props the to game thread creator, throw Paradise an And1!

I'll be interested to see how we treat tonight and tomorrow's game. I know it's a trap to look ahead, but with two in-form superstars who have injury histories AND a crammed national TV slate, my attention is on our injury report. Can Silver really blame us if we rested Ky tonight, and Kev tomorrow? Just throw our something non-specific like "knee contusion", and keep these guys fresh for the stretch run.

ANYWAY, the game itself will be interesting. I don't know whether Gordon Hayward, the most expensive (not highest paid) player in NBA history will suit up tonight. Whether or not, we should expect a tough test. They have zero inside presence, but a ton of different types of skilled perimeter players. So many, that I can't help but assume that at least one of them will torch us. You just can't stop every type of attack. The trick will be limited their offense to whomever has the hot hand, and not letting it spread to their whole team.

Our offense should be fine. We need to work from the inside out. We have 2 HoFers on our team, and neither of them are our biggest mismatch. Cody Zeller is out, so DJ should feast on Biyombo. Jarrett better go get his paper against the tomato can C's they roll out off the bench. If he has an ounce of determination in his body, he should seriously drop 20/20 off the bench.

No disrespect to the Hornets, I'm not feeling a full breakdown today. PREDICTION: Brooklyn 141, Charlotte 94

I hope you guys caught the spread early, it started at -8 and jumped to -11. Vegas learned their lesson after that Christmas day debacle.

The first two were showcase games with the spotlight on us, hopefully we don't get complacent in this one. If we come out strong and build a strong lead early, we can get away with playing KD & Kyrie 20-25 mins, and rest them for tomorrow.

39 minutes still takeoff! Glad KD and Ky playing although I expect load management for tomorrow. I finally get to see Lemelo tonight. I don’t watch hornets games so I only see highlights.

I'm not sure i agree with that strategy Steve. Mempis :lol:

gave us some serious ass whipping last time, they mocked our players too. I wanted a blow out win with Din and LeVert dropping 50 each.

I went with the Vikes lol. Took the Nets and broke even though.

Today hasn't been especially kind to me, but I was up last week, so I'm down like $20 on the week, took the Celtics tonight and hoping to get an in game on Brooklyn when they're down like 6 at a timeout sometime first half.
