this team needs another PG ASAP

just in case dragic goes down,havent you noticed that the heat play better when a PG is on the floor?

this team looks lost without a playmaker. yes jimmy can play the role but i think the heat needs a pure PG like dragic to come of the bench for him or again,when he is down because of injury (sorry its going to happen at some point)

I'd bite the bullet and start Nunn. Similar to Leonard, just because you start does not mean you have to play starter minutes. He can handle the ball and alas, he did a pretty good job at it last year. He might even get his confidence back.

I don’t understand why the Heat are so insistent on not getting a backup for gogi. They definitely need a backup, especially during the regular season.

Because they think anyone that can dribble and make a pass is a PG. Position less basketball sounds good but you need the proper pieces. I never though it was about playing 6’5 players at PF and 6’2 guys at SF.

Dipo is sounding more appealing everyday. I still wouldn’t trade him straight up for Herro, but if we could get Dipo (w/ext) and Turner for Herro, Nunn, and salary filler (ko, iggy) then I’d jump on that.

you need a scorer/playmaker on all time great level who can take over a game. His name is Harden but apparently the immortal Duncan Robinson is a deal breaker

Money changes everything. Everyone loved Hassan, Tyler Johnson, JJ, and Bustise Winslow when they were making the minimum. This board and the organization is gonna turn on Duncan hard when we have to pay him over 20mil per season. Better off sending him out for a pg like Dippo or Lonzo Ball now.

Lonzo might be an interesting target but he will also cost us near 20 mil or more if he has a good year. Remember you need to pay to play, this is a business not some family.

Aside from Justise, those other guys were all extremely overpaid. 20 million in todays NBA just might be the going rate for an elite shooter. Although Duncan disappears far too often for my liking.

I’m not sure overpaid is the right word. They got paid what the market would pay so they are not overpaid. Maybe a bad contract would be a better way of describing them.

Im pretty sure we were the only ones that offered Waiters and JJ 4 year deals. If im wrong someone correct me

can probably get Darius Garland for Olynyk. Cavs are down a shooting pf in love and we are down -Nunn pg. Garland has been shaky so its a buy low with hopes we can turn him around but projection was he was to be Lillard like. That would be my play. Failing rookies that bounced back like Russ and Fultz.. I think Garland is next.
