And hope we can survive Lakers size without embarrassment. Okogie on their bigs would be kinda ridiculous lol. Good thing AD is out.

And please Jake and Juancho, score atleast 1 pt this time.

Maybe this is the game Juancho goes off scores 14+ on hot outside shooting and makes his haters look silly?

Dlo coming off bench/not playing? See Rubio in the starting lineup. But even if dlo does play, he statistically doesn't play well on back to backs.

I really hope so.

Does someone like him really have haters? Don't think he is at the level to get a rise from people. Its more of just a player who isn't good enough being questionned for disappointing people. Dont really need him to go off, just want a serviceable decent rotation player who hits the occasional shot.

I'm more shocked by Jake, he allways give an extra punch you don't expect in his short stay as a Timberwolf so far, good hustle, drive and eager cutting. So these past 2 timid games for him is uncharacteristic (even if he is being played out of position). Hope he snaps out of it.

Well I have been a Juancho hater and many have called him trash... Jake is maybe better off the bench?

Ant is probably the best 1 on 1 defender we could put on Lebron imo. He's 230lbs, Okogie is what, 213lbs? Culver around 200lbs or smth. If you wanna slow down Lebron, you need to be a thicc boi.

I wouldn't normally say this, but should put Edwards on Lebron the whole game, minute for minute. Tell him it's his job to stop Lebron and otherwise win this game. Heap all the pressure possible on Edwards this game and let's just see what occurs. If nothing else it will be a heaping spoonful of the NBA for Edwards and his I am superman confidence. What's the worse that could happen? A pat on the head, "don't worry about it, it was Lebron" if it doesn't go well.

I'm hoping to see Vanderbilt get some run tonight. The Wolves desperately need someone who can rebound and defend bigger guys at PF (two things Vanderbilt should be able to do). I don't see any way he could be worse than Layman/Hernangomez.

Or McDaniels. Jaden looked better in preseason than Vanderbilt.

I hope to see McDaniels start to get minutes, but tonight would not be a good game to do it. The Lakers are going to be playing Gasol (255 lbs), Harrell (240 lbs), Morris (245 lbs), Kuzma (220 lbs), and James (250 lbs). Playing your first NBA game against that group is not a good situation for a 20 year old who weighs 185 lbs.

KARL-ANTHONY TOWNS
C, MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES

Karl-Anthony Towns has been diagnosed with a dislocated left wrist and he will be "re-evaluated weekly on a return to play plan," according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Towns is out with wrist dislocation.

No surgery needed but he will be out for a few weeks.

The franchise is cursed...for there is no doubt.

Of course the guy who gets hurt is the one player where the team truly can't replace his minutes. So much for getting off to a strong start in the standings.

You lost a lot of respect for James for deciding to use his celebrity to raise 5 million dollars for the Boys and Girls clubs. Sure it was a little in bad taste, but the result was amazing and James could have pocketed that 5 million, but he did it for a very worthwhile charity.

A lot of players donate to charity. It doesn’t excuse his “poor taste” or gross self-promotion. He also started the “stars to bigger markets” trend that threatens to ruin any resemblance of balance left in the NBA.

It sure isn’t all Bron’s fault by any stretch of the imagination and by all accounts he’s a good person and great dad. None of that dismisses the entire hoopla of his FA announcement that he created and promoted himself. It was a terrible debacle in his career and one I choose not to forget as a fan.

With all of that said, KG, there’s plenty about Lebron to respect and praise. Hasn’t he been in like 9 of the last 10 NBA Finals or something close to that? That’s just ridiculous.

Yes lot of people give to charity. I do sometimes. You're missing the point. He did the decision show to raise 5 million for the Boys and Girls clubs. That will never make me lose respect for him.

Sh*t we only got to see towns and dlo play like 2 and half games. Well timberwolves only got 2 more games until the new year game. Hope Towns is healthy by then. He literally has a week to heal. They said they'll monitor his progress week by week. Doesn't mean he'll be out for weeks. I guess Davis will be starting in place of towns?

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
