Bjelica getting burned defensively to start the 4th is on brand.

Oh well. Still a good start for the group to get used to each other and see what you've got for longterm planning.

This one looks like it's over.

I'm good with going 1-1

Man, this game got sloppy in a hurry. Turnover and bad offense weren't even giving us a chance to set the defense late in the third and through the fourth. Haliburton had himself a game though, we got a good one.

Fox was ridiculously bad tonight

I appreciate the first two games, but your off nights need to be a lot better

Tyrese had another good game. Was good to see him not shy away from the 3. Stepped into a couple really nice ones without hesitation.

Final thoughts: I actually expected them to lose yesterday so I can't be mad they lose today. As the season goes on I think we will learn the Kings are better than how they're currently perceived. Back to back playing the same team on the same court is never easy. Kings walk away 1-1 and that's all I can ask for. Side note, defensive rotations have improved a lot from last season.

He was lethargic and bad beyond the foul trouble he helped to create.

Consistency.

That doesn’t mean being good, but you need to be serviceable night in/night out

I expected more from CP3 and Booker. Paul had 8 points on 10 shots and Booker had 20 points on 19 shots. Cam Johnson gets player of the game for PHX.

You tend to be a little hard on Fox.

Not that we have a good offensive scheme but man the offense legitimately dies the second Bagley touches the ball.

Fox, Buddy, Bagley combined 15/41. They gotta be better.

And HB only 6 shots...He needs to be a focal point in the offense. I'll put that on Fox. Point guard needs to get his guy involved.

Harrison Barnes as a focal point of any offense makes us the most unwatchable team in any sports history.

Fox is a 6th man. He can cook a mean dish but can't run the kitchen.

Fox had a bad game but he can contribute of defense in those games. But Buddy and Bagley are only matched in low IQ by Wiggins and Oubre.

For this year it is fine. Bagley isn’t going to be an impact forward and we need to draft one. To do that we need a tank commander and that’s Bagley. If Buddy had a brain he would see the writing on the wall and it’s just a matter of time before he is the 6th man. He won’t like it and will be disruptive as usual. He probably will have to be traded.

Anyone willing to write off Bagley after 3 games I caution you.

Remember what our legend Jerry Reynolds preaches, big men take longer to develop.

Wasn't Bagley a guy who skipped his senior year of high school, came into the league very young? Then he balls towards the end of his rookie season and basically misses the entire next year... We need to he patient. This is like a guy out of high school playing his 2nd year of basketball.

There are going to be growing pains. And he may not ever be "the guy" but in a weird covid off-season he's trying to get his rhythm back. Just give it a third of a season before we completely write him off.

Rumor has it Coach K stopped trying to get Duke to play real D to accommodate Bagley's deficiencies. I don't see much development since then, but it's great to see any found money out of these bigs. Not a great rotation. Anyway: Bagley's not a deal breaker either way, for trades or playing time or whatever. I still like the idea of trying to run him as a small ball C for some scoring. Since Walton isn't really coaching, it doesn't really matter this year. When's his contract up again?
