That no name is smashing Curry's sister. Put respect to Lees name for marrying into a rich family.

Honestly hes not as bad as his stats suggest.

Hes got great athleticism, energy, length, and motor. When locked in his a good defender and he can shoot the rock. Hes a 3+D wing who can carve out a similar career as Trevor Ariza.

Problem is hes been playing on these bad teams most of his career who need offense so he's been force fed as a #2/#3 option who has to create his own shot.

His ideal role is spotting up from and making off ball cuts so he can expend his energy on defense. Not a bad player at all, just in a **** situation.

Small sample size, Oubre will get better. He's too reckless and has tunnel vision, but he's a much more capable scorer than he's shown in GS so far, he's a solid defender when he's focused and his energy will spark the team from time to time.

Oubre is not a good offensive player. The Warriors should relegate him to spot up shooting when he's wide open, hustle/2nd chance points and fast break finishing... Any more freedom than that and you're asking to get burned.

2 were dunks and 1 was a layup at the rim...I'm not sure if that counts as a dunk for this or not. But those were his 3 baskets.

Based on the video just posted above...other than a few step in 3's where he was relatively open, that's mostly what he's doing. That said...they desperately need ANYONE to hit open 3's and play any amount of defense. If it's not Curry...who else?

I mean, yeah... At this point they kind of don't really have a choice. The defenses are keying in on Steph and giving guys like Oubre a decent amount of space to shoot or take advantage... Most of the times those are about as good of shooting opportunities you can hope to get for your offense but Oubre and Wiggins are just terrible at converting them...

What makes matters worse is that their roster is horrifically thin on the wings... I would say play someone else that can make shots other than Wiggins or Oubre, but they really can't without sacrificing a lot of size... Guys like Lee, Poole and Wanamaker are all better shooters but are all small guards. Paschall is really a slow, flat-footed PF and Looney is an undersized C... They have no one to fill the void.

Yeah I like the bench shooting a hair better in paper and a lot better in practice but then you gotta stop the other team and they can't stop anyone. This team is going to need to score 120 a game to compete with this defense they have.

Oubre: scoring efficient 18.7 in Phoenix last season. Goes to Gsw, plays with the best PG ever in Curry - scores 5.7, has significantly more turnovers... Gravity, I guess.

Ricky Rubio is a much better passer than Curry. That's why he was drafted higher.

Ricky Rubio also got Andrew Wiggins a max contract.

Flashier is not better.

If you think Rubio is a btter passer/facilitator than curry you just have to add Draymond hockey assists to Curry.

Rubio + Booker were one of the best duo assisting backcourts last year. Oubre just seemed to fit the Suns chemistry and not so much the one in Golden State so far. Kelly allowed us to realize we could move on from Warren and could stop hoping Josh Jackson would stop being a dumb ass!!
