[B/R]: Kevin Love Covered Lost Wages for Employees at Cavs' Arena

Post#1 » by MarxyLebronist » Mon Dec 28, 2020 5:54 pm

Just this once, I'll overlook that he's a UCLA guy. Really quality move.
Article also notes Drummond's generosity and the players' overall support for some of the staff in these tough times. Looks like some of this is old news but the full scope of their work is clear now and recently the subject of some Cavs-based media coverage. Well done. Like your new rookie a lot btw. Good luck this season.

I saw this last year and thought it was a classy move at the time.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

I like it when these things are done in silence and found out later because of the noise made by the recipients of such generosities
Love is smart guy but he clearly cares about people too.

Yep, we heard about it right away, and I think it helped encourage other players follow suit with similar gestures. For instance, I think Blake Griffin did the same shortly after.
