Oladipo out for load management on the knee. Aaron Holiday starting instead.

The new offense could be really good this year for Doug McDermott

At the very end? To get an extra ball handler on the court with the full court pressure Boston was successfully running.

Myles' 3 ball isn't falling yet, but I've noticed him driving to the hoop strong a lot more this season, which is nice to see.
Domas too of course, as in the game winning drive, but it's been part of his game for a while.
As a team, I think Nate 2.0 has them cutting down on the long 2's a lot. Modern offense finally comes to the Pacers, lol.

Promising start .
Domantas looking sliiiiim and improved again. 4 of 9 from 3, good beginnings are important .
Almost trading Turner helps Myles to be stronger mentally. Just do your own thing and you will get fortune if you work hard with respect.
Oladipo looking great again, but I'm not convinced he will bring enough as a leader or when it's not a contract year. I would sell high on him. Brogdon is a SG.
Nate doing Nate things . Creative but he needs to work on his minutes distributions or we will be gassed out when playoffs loom.

Celtics played quite poorly, so Pacers really should have won this by double digits
Too many sloppy careless turnovers, and the team's three point shooting woes continues
Tristan Thompson gave Domas a bit of trouble it seems. Against the old school, tough as nails bigs who are capable of standing their ground, Domas struggles a little, it looks like
Doug was great though. Now that he's finally being utilized properly, he's becoming an integral part of the team
And Justin, oh man. He shoots, he defends, he forces turnovers, he finishes at the rim. He's even our emergency "big" when things threaten to burst at the seams. Is there anything he can't do. What an absolute bargain locking him up under a relatively cheap contract
Myles is growing up too

This is one of the reasons that I'm not happy with the NBA. Star players get the calls! Big market teams get the calls. Sabonis gets punched in the throat and kicked in the balls and he's called for a foul! Who can forget the non call and no foul on LBJ in the playoffs when he "Blocked" Victors shot that cost us a series win. Then there is the 3 steps out of bounds no call for KD playing the Rocket.
Watch this at 26 seconds into the video, KD is clearly out of bounds and the Ref was right in front of it! WTF!!

He's been awesome for us. Doug has never had the kind of game with us like he did last night. He's scored more (I think), but old Nate just had him be a spot up shooter despite him actually having a pretty diverse offensive game. New Nate has clearly told him to be aggressive and cut to the basket sometimes instead of to the 3 point line.
We're also not used to adjustments, mid game or after half time. Old Nate's mantra was always to trust in the system, which has its benefits, but burned us far too many times. Mixing it up has been such a breath of fresh air.
And you can tell that the players are enjoying the system and seem to have more of an understanding of what they should be doing. It's simple, but take the shot if you have it and pass if there's a better one has meant a lot to how the team operates.
I'm sure it was the same for Raps fans going from Casey to Nurse.
