It's early but this season is over if we lose to this depleted Rockets team

Except for Jokic, the Nuggets can stop themselves. But who's going to be able to stop Jokic in the low post? He needs to do an imitation of a 1960-1995 type center!

Now, if we can get players to be active instead of spectating, Jokic could have his perfect game tonight: 20 assists 15 rebounds 10 points.

It's hardly over, there were plenty of dumb losses last season, like getting swept by Cavs no less, blowing big lead and losing in OT to Pistons etc - to me it really makes no difference if the loss is early or mid or late in the season, a loss is a loss.

In my opinion at some point Malone can't complain about rebounding anymore. The worst defensive rebounding stretch in that half was clearly with the 4 guard lineup. Thank god we have Hartenstein. He made up for it with his energy and defense. I'm glad we have him. Especially since I love seeing a german guy making an impact on the Nuggets.

Without Wall, Cousins, and Eric Gordon Rockets have no depth tonight so our 2nd unit trashed their 2nd unit during that 18-0 run. Seems that bubble Murray is back, but overall defense is still bad. With 70 pts on half we actually doesn't need defense. 4-guard lineup to work need great scorer, so Murray do it tonight.

With such a sizable lead, we should sit some starters midway thru the 4th to give them rest as well as give some PT to ththe bench players (like Zeke) who can really utilize those mins

I don't think it would be the end of the world if Jokic played another 2-3 minutes to reach career first 20+ assets game, historic achievement for a center. But that is just me.

Good win tonight, even if HOU was short-handed. Jokic is playing like a man on a mission, 3rd straight triple-double. Millsap, MPJ, Murray even Harris created strong support, benefitting from Joker's great passing tonight. Here's to MANY more games like this !!

I know we haven't seen him play in serious NBA games yet, but man Bol looks really low IQ at times. Positioning on D, movement on D and on O (there was one instance where Zeke was rotating around on offense to create space and he, as a rookie, had to communicate Bol where to go) and also his decisions with the ball. I mean, this could be just him trying too hard to showcase himself, but today he passed up open spot up threes to take two dribbles into the midrange area with a little crossover to show off his handles and then missed the tough pull up midrange J. Unfortunately this wasn't the first time he did this.

I personally think he should concentrate more on the fundamentals and play a straight game. I think doing that would even help him more to get minutes since this would show that he can fill a role effectively. Showing off his handles and pull ups, that he more than likely will never be able to effectively use in the NBA, won't impress anyone really.
Become a good spot up shooter, shot blocker (and with that I also mean become smarter on D) and rebounder on a consistent basis first. Then you will get your minutes sooner rather than later.

Yup, also a good win in the sense that the Nuggets didn't play down to competition. Certainly would've sucked had Harden defeated us by his lonesome.

Denver is still clueless on the defensive end and if the offense don't work this team is in deep trouble, luckily Houston was missing bunch of the players last night.

Finally got to watch the game and saw a Rocket's broadcast. Their announcers spoke of Jokic as a "Generational Talent" and the "First NBA center to truly run the offense" and so on. They also couldn't stop talking about Morris and his ball handling and shooting and defense.

Like someone else, I noticed that 2nd quarter line up with Jokic - Barton - Dozier - Harris - Murray. What was crazy was watching Barton handling the ball and trying to run the offense by pounding the ball at the three-point line. BTW - He had zero assists. Can someone please explain to me why Malone thinks he is a point guard?

Porter's defense looks to be improving. He had a couple of nice defensive plays that won't show up in the box score. One was a "poke check" that I just loved.

Loved the balanced scoring but I'm not counting on Millsap to go 7-8 with 3-4 from three every game. It was nice to see Harris hit 6-10 with 2-6 from three.

Would have loved to see more playing time for the deep bench. But it was a very satisfying win.

What a game by Jokic.

Murray got cloberred, anybody heard anything about tonight yet?

We really need to trade Barton, and quickly. Against a good team his ball dominance it going to be a problem and Malone is allowing it.

I think most of us here know that Jokic is a generational guy, he is changing the game to the point other teams are trying to get their big men to pass more.

Last night was the best game from Morris this season including preseason.

I am glad some people around the league are starting to see what we see in our young guys.
