He doesn't look comfortable and seems like he prefers to get the ball on rolls and as a trailer. It seems every time he rolls there is an opportunity to give him the ball but both CP3 and Book hesitate. He's fumbled quite a bit, which is something HE needs to work on, but giving him quick easy looks he's comfortable with might get his confidence high.

I saw both in preseason games and regular season games CP3 tried to play P&R with Ayton but he was just not ready to catch the pass. I think he also needs to learn how to play p&r properly.

I feel like Book sees the right pass most of the time, but doesn't quite have the technical skill to get those passes through. I've been watching Booker, and I've noticed that his passes are often not on the money, like way above a player's head or all the way down at his feet off. Passing isn't something that just develops naturally with decision making; it is a skill just as deep and difficult as shooting and should be practiced as such. Nash used to do tons of passing drills by himself, and hopefully CP3 can impart more of that on Booker.

As for DA, people may want to blame the organization, but you can't teach a guy how to catch a basketball. You either can or you can't...

As far as the booker turnovers, first should be noted he's always going to be on the higher end because of how much he has the ball. But I don't think he'll average 7 a game, we're dealing with a small sample size and I'm sure it will level out.

He was 3rd in the league in turnovers last year so it's definitely something that's been a problem for awhile and seems to have gotten worse. It was better in this game though so lets hope that trend continues.
With Bookers turnovers it's really about the kind of TO it is. Things like an occasional offensive foul or miss on a high difficulty pass are fine. It's the sloppy turnovers that he needs to cut out of his game.

He's always going to be near the top of the TO list because most guys who have a usage rate as high as him also have a high TO rate. As long as he's in the 3s and not the 5-6+ range it's fine.

Yeah, I understand he will have a lot of turnovers due to usage. Harden always has the most. Trae was second last year. Embiid always has a lot. There are exceptional ball handlers with high usage like Chris Paul who don't have turnovers. It's like QBs...many throw interceptions because it's bound to happen but once Rodgers came in and was really careful with not throwing them, many others in today's game have really cut down on them.

I don't mind 2-3, but really he should be a lot lower than guys like Harden, Trae and Doncic who usually have near double digit assists, or well into the double digits. Averaging like 3.7 with 6.3 turnovers shouldn't happen. If you are going to try and create for others you should maintain at least a 2.5/1 ast/to ratio if you want to be a quality player in that regard.

He's always been great at catching the ball and holding onto it despite people swiping at it. He hasn't been as good with that so far playing with some new players and another new PG, but that's normally been a pretty big strength, not a weakness.

Yeah I remember that stretch towards the end of the season where he front rimmed his last 100 3pt attempts

Channing frye had a ton of cold streaks like Kaminsky and was never l crucified unlike Frank has. :noway:

Had I been around, I would've called him garbage all the same.Channing Frye had way more big games/big shots than Kaminsky.Kaminsky looked good during the preseason last year, but turned back into a pumpkin once the regular season started.Frye might've had a cold streak, but Kaminsky's still a very poor man's version of.. well..Channing Frye
