It’s actually $64 million I believe.

Oubre’s slump isn’t about any holes in his game or shortcomings with regards to the type of player he is, he’s simply snake bitten. He’s missing tons of wide open shots, bricking literally everything from everywhere; these aren’t things you can really adjust for, he just needs to start hitting those open shots because that’s what professional basketball players should do. And eventually he will, because he’s gotten this far.

He’s still explosive at the rim and he’s solid on defence, so I think the rest will come. Glad to see he’s still chucking up shots even after going 0- a million, eventually they’ll start sinking.

seems like he thinks he should literally Klays replacement

I thought all NBA players nowadays are super skilled unlike the milkmen and the taxi drivers from the 90s and earlier...

Great general board post. This is why I'm on RG.

Since I would also be 0/31 on non dunk attempts, I'm going to switch career paths and try out for the NBA.

He's nowhere close to this bad, this is some kind of slump but unless it really hampers his confidence he will bounce back.

On paper he makes sense even with klay. He's long, athletic, and last year hit 35% from 3. They need a guy to play instead of Wiggins in other words...or as a rotation guy.
Had to correct myself. Autocorrect took over my post I suppose.

I personally don't like the moves Golden State has made as of late. I thought they'd do something with Wiggins.

I've refrained from engaging in the Curry conversations, because obviously everyone is already dug in, but...

c'mon, bro! 0/31!

It's a week late, but I'll go ahead and say what I was thinking during the BKN game on Opening Night: after Durant and Curry, the Nets had the next five best players in the game.

And now I'll bust out possibly my least favorite quote of all time, because it just feels appropriate in this case:

Spoiler:
it is what it is.
All human life on the earth is like grass, and all human glory is like a flower in a field. The grass dries up and its flower falls off, but the Lord’s word endures forever.

Hard to blame Oubre and Wiggins on Curry when the Warriors are getting lots of good shots. This is on management for thinking that Oubre/Wiggins was a viable wing duo when even us peons here could tell you that was never going to work. Like this isn't a knee-jerk overreaction to 3 bad games, many of us were saying this all along.

They outsmarted themselves taking Russell back in the Durant deal which hard=capped them last year, forced them to pay assets to dump Iggy, led them to taking on Wiggins and they have just been in panic, catch-up mode ever since.

This is on management and the wings, not Steph Curry. He's getting them good shots.

You can't miss 100% of the shots you never take...

I think is how it goes.
