Diallo thinks he's Lebron James.

I really like him but yeah he's not an NBA player ;(

He doesn’t have to shoot like this to be a solid contributor. He feels like the kind of guy that’s regularly going to miss about 20 threes in a row over three games and then go off on the fourth game.

And hold donovan Mitchell to 2/10 shooting while he's at it. I think he can be good enough attacking the rim to not be a total anchor on offense. It's unlikely he's ever good, but Tony Allen feels like his offensive floor.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

This is a mirage though, right? There's no way we're 2 good bench players away from being a playoff team.

I can live with that. He kind of gets a little too hyper on offense when his shots start going in.

On a side note, Mitchell had poku on him and decided to take a pull up three that he missed rather than go right to the rim. If I were a jazz fan I would find him pretty frustrating.

Gotta give it ten games for teams to scout us but the starters are definitely decent.

I know we're not big anymore, but the lack of effort on the defensive glass is glaring

I know it's good for the tank but I'm sick of watching Muscala taking 3's

That last play was kind of a disaster. I’ll take it.

yeah it's good to get an L but SGA really struggling...still had some great plays for overall it wasn't great.

Horford was trash. Not gonna be easy to rehab his trade value.

This is what I expected from shai this year. I’m not too worried. He had some great plays that didn’t count like the shot before the half and one that he wasn’t considered in the act of shooting. He had a couple of three point attempts where he got the ball passed to him with no time on the shot clock and had to throw up a prayer. He had some decent defensive plays. He still gets screened too easily and really needs to be better from three. As much as he’s doing on the offensive end right now he probably won’t ever be a lock down defender.

Yeah I don't know...want SGA to be more effective and lethal on the offensive end. Feel he won't be able to be an offensive threat like Donovan Mitchell is for example (not a good day to say this since Mitchell was trash but whatever).

Didn't get to see the second half but it appears to have been the perfect game. Get that L but be competitive and generally fun to watch.

Entertaining and fun to watch but not the perfect game for our young guys (besides Dort the MVP/MIP/DPOY)

Poku will not score this season. Maledon was trash in the first half but he got better in the second. A lot of up and downs for SGA.
I was skeptical about Bazley but I definitely love him.

Shai is just now a little bit older than Mitchell was his rookie year.

From what I saw in the first half, it really is glaring how lost Poku is. You just get the feeling this isn't a speed of the game thing so much as a having no idea how to play basketball when he doesn't have a massive physical advantage against his opposition thing.
