Excited to see Lamelo for the first time, but there’s no way Dallas should be losing this with 3 days off and having just smoked the Clips.

Last year they would lose this game though so can’t get comfortable

Much needed off days for Charlotte to who upset Brooklyn. That was a big win and it was a back to back game.

Charlotte will come in confident.

Although I had this actually written as a loss for Dallas, I feel of course Dallas can win this one and should. I just hope they bring strong energy and fight throughout the entire game and work their asses off. If they do that I am ok if they lose. If they do not and they allow easy buckets and are sloppy in executing plays, doing coverages, switches, etc then I won't be happy.

I do think Charlotte is a dangerous team that will cause Dallas problems, especially on guard and wing positions.

Charlotte is guard heavy. So our wing defenders will have their hands full. Hayward, Rozier, Graham and even Ball need to be defended well.

We should be able to take advantage of Charlotte's lack of size at the 5. Expect to see the Mavs feasting on lobs to Dwight Powell.

I think WCS is slowly earning Carlisle's trust. We could see him playing with our starters soon, especially with all the tinkering.

Listing Powell as the key to victory doesn't inspire confidence. Of course I hope he does well, but he seems far away from it.

Never said it was a key to victory, i just said we should look to exploit the matchup. I think this team is capable of winning in a myriad of ways.

If Brunson was a willing passer like Luka, he'd be one of the best PG's in the league probably. He can create space anytime he wants but then makes so many dumb decisions. They really miss JJB who was able to easily rack up assists in limited minutes.

Powell 0 rebounds at half. Got out jumped by Lamelo :lol:

and is -16 in 12 minutes. I honestly have no clue anymore what, other than pump fakes, does he bring to this team? I would be ok playing him 5-10 mins to get back in shape and form but short season and other guys out performing him by a lot, he is such a huge liability.

This is so pathetic. I don't think I can keep watching. This team has NO ONE you are sure is going to show up and hit shots.

Last year, there at least was Luka.

I don't even know what to say. Missed shots after missed shots. Even when WCS is alone, he gets fouled and misses his FTs. WTF!

And now Luka is at the point where I wonder if he should just stop shooting 3s like Simmons. 2/20? 2/20!

Luka can't even make layups anymore... And collectively they can't guard anyone on the perimeter, what the hell happened to this team in 2 months?!?!
