Yeah. I didn't get letting him go, considering he was a min. contract.

Holiday, TLC, even Selden or Sampson, and CHI had itself a competent set of scrubby but very serviceable, multi-position bench wings. Instead they decided to quadruple-down on scrub Cs and PGs.

I think this is the kind of stuff that will be fixed.

Jokic dominating the 3rd period and hasn't even attempted a shot. Just playing complete floor general, and it was amazing to watch.

Atlanta now 3-0 as well. I think they have a much better chance of sustaining a winning record than the cavs, but it does suck to see 2 teams that are much further along in their rebuild since 2018.

Id like to say at least we aren't the knicks but they just beat the bucks by 20.

Injuries across the league already stacking up. Dinwiddie, Morant, and KAT added to the list.

Supposed to be Lake Michigan and Green Bay

Jerseys irked me as well. Enough to look up the story behind them. Long story short, 3 rivers and Lake Michigan is the reasoning behind the multi-toned blue threads.

The jerseys in general from Nike bother me on all fronts.

We need to go back to 3 jerseys MAX. And white jerseys at home.

Having the key, the baseline, all the same color as the home team AND the away team makes for some awful basketball watching. They look like floating limbs in the middle of the key.

League feels watered down and sorta gimmicky with all the three point shooting now. Probably more than time to consider some rules changes, including widening the court a bit, extending the corner three and figure out how to encourage less threes in general and different play styles. NBA has become a pretty vanilla product night to night. I am a fantasy guy and even with my guys going it feels tedious watching the games so far. It's a lot of three balls.
It feels like old man yelling at the sky, but yeah its hard to watch now. Feels like a glorified ymca scrimmage. Theres a lot less jaw dropping acrobatic moments because they are not fighting through contact or a crowded paint to finish layups.

If I hadn't been a basketball fan all my life I doubt I would find it appealing now. Especially with all the player movement.

i think they would have widened the court a long time ago if not for the revenue from the front row seats

I wonder how much it would help if they just made the arc follow the same curvature the whole way around, essentially eliminating the corner 3. It would take a few feet off the 3 point line on both sides.

If the injuries pile up Around the league we might find some trade partners that we weren't expecting.

He's such an incredible passer. The way he sees passing angles which are not there for almost every other human being and just casually makes the most insane passes is so impressive, he really doesn't get enough credit for it IMO. 42 assists through 3 regular season games, are you kidding me?

I see many people are down on the current state of the league?

Watch more Jokic games.

This is true. But this will also go back to who AK and Donovan want to keep, and also who on the Bulls has value.

At the same time, I'd be willing to take back an injured player, if they have a decent chance of recovery and long term value and fit. I would also be willing to take back long term salary, even if only for veteran leadership.

So, for example, while I don't think the Thunder would do it (because they are thinking the same thing), I'd happily swap Otto Porter for Al Horford - despite that being "bad cap" for a few years. Mostly because I think Horford could help the team become "good" in the next couple of years, but there's pretty much zero chance the Bulls become contention level within this and the following 2 seasons.

Very few guys out there right now of the Al Horford mold, though - guys who are still good enough to start for most teams, and have the vet credibility of being formerly top notch players to really impact younger guys. Derrick Rose, maybe, but does he have the personality? CP3 (which is why the Suns got him). Maybe Russ (but he comes with his own issues). Maybe Aldridge and Derozan, who will be FA, but don't seem to be guys who would be ok being on bad teams.

3 weeks sounds pretty optimistic for a grade 2. I'd think it's more like 5-8 weeks which would pretty much have him coming back after the ASG. That does suck, for him and for fans, but at least it's not broken that would have probably ruled him out until March at the earliest.

So, what's the deal with Aaron Nesmith? I was high on him back at the draft and he hasn't been playing.
is he hurt or is just Boston the place where mid first rounders go to wither and die?
Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

Haliburton plays like he's in his 5th NBA season. Definitely the most NBA ready rookie in this class. Sacramento finded a gem.

I was as well. Boston is just not the best place for rookie wings (see Langford last year as well). Tatum, Brown, and Smart are going to take up nearly all the minutes for the foreseeable future.
