At the half Bagley has 18 pts, Fox has 8 pts and 7 ast.

Bagley is looking good and hitting 3's.

Things I'm watching halftime update:

Fox - 8 pts, 7 asts

Buddy - 9 pts, 3 asts (1 dime to Bagley) and 2/4 from 3

Bagley - 18 pts and 2/4 from 3.

Haliburton - 5 pts, 2 stls

I love what I've seen from Bagley this half, Haliburton added energy and ball movement, Buddy has been making some great plays like that dime to Bagley and hitting a couple 3's, and Fox has been solid and seems like he has a chip on his shoulder tonight which I love to see.

Denver has the momentum here in the 3rd. This is where the Kings folded last game. Kings need to respond.

Good to see Fox taking over when Denver had serious momentum

FOX! Step back 3 and then a steal that leads to a Haliburton 3

Things I'm watching final:

Fox - hit the 24 pt mark with 10 asts and made a lot of winning plays (taking charges, steals, earning ft's)

Buddy - only had 12 pts tonight, but I still think he had a good night. Did well defensively, hustle plays, and seemed way less selfish than he has in previous seasons.

Bagley - had a great first half, but tried to force too much in the 3rd. Needs to play more with the flow of the offense which has been a concern before too.

Haliburton - killed it when it was important. The stats don't tell the whole story for him and he's a stud, but still had 13pts, 4 asts, 3 rbs, and 3 stls

He was a pretty good bet to be the best rookie regardless of the team he ended up on, but it's a pleasant surprise to see him putting up the shooting/scoring numbers that will make winning ROY a real possibility. I'm guessing a lot of people will be eating crow on the Kings letting Bogdan go once they understand that clearing PT for Haliburton was one of the main reasons for it.

Draft sights had his NBA comp as Lonzo/ Exum. There were some concerns about weight, unorthodox jumper, low FT rate/ avoiding contact and shot creation.

Poll results are Buddy with 3 votes and Haliburton with 1.

We have a tie with Buddy, Barnes, and Haliburton all making three 3's each.

Haliburton shot the best 3pt% shooting 3-4 from deep.

Barnes shot 3-6 and Buddy 3-7

Congrats whoever voted for Haliburton. You're the winner by tiebreaker.

I listened to Tyrese on MGRADS podcast talking about the Lonzo comparison. He thinks it's a lazy comparison and I agree.

Holmes really had the little flip shot going (that has to be one of the most aggravating ways to lose) but hopefully in the future, Bagley can get some time at the 5 in those lineups with Haliburton and one of Barnes or Bjelica spacing at the 4.

After calling Bagley the tank commander before I have to give the kid credit. Played better on both ends. Still needs to learn how to finish with right hand around the basket.

WOW! My favorite teams. The first place Hawks (east) and the first place Kings (west).
It just don't get any better than this!
