Ok watching Wolves and have to give Edwards his dues. VERY good. Pretty great draft class as it turns out. Looking forward to the Haliburton show here in 5!

Watching last nights game the best thing to me was not this deep 3 which he hit, but another play a minute earlier when he got switched on Jokic he did a phenomenal job fronting him to deny him the ball, got the turnover because of his activity not allowing to get Jokic the ball and went coast to coast for a layup.

That play was special, this man is amazing.
Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

Is there anything this kid doesn't do well? Pass, defend, shoot, awareness? The way hes playing as a rookie is insane. Hes far better than Fox was to start his career. I think Haliburton has franchise face potential.

Haliburton is filling all the roles I had hoped Bogdan would. We pegged Bogdan as a combo guard who could distribute, but looking back and seeing how Haliburton is playing, seems like Bogi was more of an iso player whereas Haliburton gets everyone involved. Add on the defensive play and he's really the best fit next to both Fox and Buddy.

Imagine matching Bogi and sitting Hali, all for hoping to trade Bogi for a future asset in the off-season.

Tyrese out with a wrist bruise? It will be tough to win the next game against Houston or any against any good team without him. Yes, already saying that about a rookie

Give me a bigger sample size (say... 30 games) and I will be there with you. He looks amazing. He already seems to be the smartest player on the floor.

IMO he’s the best player on the team right now.

It's not even close. Admittedly i missed the first half of last nights game when Fox seemingly was on fire, but my take away 9 games in is that Fox hasn't progressed a damn bit. In fact he looks worse out there. Out of control, not capable of shifting gears just always fast to a fault. Hes still a 70% ft shooter which won't ever cut it for a teams best player.

Haliburton looks like the smartest player on the court. Hes always calm, cool, and collected. Hes always making the best pass and knows when to look for his shot. I think i've seen him make 1 bad pass where he threw the ball across the court and got it picked off. Aside from that, this kid looks like a 5 year pro.

Hey dudes, sorry to self promote but just coming over to share my Haliburton love. I just dropped a video breaking down what makes him so special and why I think he's the frontrunner for the ROY award early on. He's so much fun to watch and Sacramento was one of the perfect landing spots for him. As a Bulls fan I am very jealous of your backcourt.

Haliburton is moving faster than any other player out there, with exception to Fox. He's straight up out-hustling everyone and making fast decisions playing chess.

It's only going to improve.

Return to Sacramento Kings
