We'd probably be set in the backcourt for the next 10 years. All in one day.

We could've had another guard who can score efficiently, shoot from distance, handle the ball as a secondary playmaker and be switchable on defense. All the advanced metrics and the eye test pointed towards that. It was a lay-up.

Instead, we have ball-dominant vet PG who can't shoot, and a lottery pick who plays the same position as the one player who's breaking out on our roster.

Knicks clowning.

It def hurts passing on Haliburton. A lotta teams overthought that one. He was even CAA

Haliburton was my guy. I kept telling 3toheadmelo he was the PG after LaMelo that we needed and intrigued me the most. Dude is looking like everything Lonzo Ball was supposed to be, but straight out the gate. People get too caught up on shot form and that's why he dropped.

You mean the knicks are looking foolish.

I am just going to say it now most of the time when a point guard is taken right before us or right after they end up being amazing. I mean its not like out biggest weakness for the last 15 years has been a pg. Hey lets take a PF when we already had a starting PF.

Their offense could be pretty potent, especially with Bogdanovic Huerter & Gallo off the bench with Rondo distributing.

Trae already a top 5-10 offensive force in this league.

34.0 PPG 4.0 RPG 7.3 APG
53% on 16.3 FGA 42% on 6.3 3PTA 91% on 15.3 FTA
61% EFG 74% TS

Just need some more time to let the other kids grow.

Weve yet to really see Obi play and yall already with the "we shouldve drafted this guy"
I honestly would rather have Quickley over Haliburton. Tyrese just gonna be an inconsistent shooter imo. All ive wanted for years is to have a guard who can shoot lights out and IQ shot seems automatic

The Pistons are going to have the worst record this season which means we’re going to have the first pick of the 2nd round :)

I want to know how anyone decides to shoot the basketball like that. On one of those shots he made, the ball was spinning horizontally lol. He has a hitch and a set shot it’s weird that he’s good with it but I wouldn’t trust that shot in someones face late in the fourth quarter.

This board had me convinced it was going to be him after how much he was spoken about. My guys were Mikal MPJ and Trae going in (idk why I thought Trae might drop)

At least we didn’t draft him, then trade him for Zhaire & a pick that ended up being used to overpay Tobias

He doesn’t have to be a star though. I think you went too far with the Frank comparisons. He looks a lot better than him

You have to stop thinking PG A vs PG B. It's the era of positionless basketball.

The Kings weren't thinking let's draft a F because we already have Fox and Hield.

Because we could've drafted both. You can play Haliburton and Quickley together and they can get the other players involved way more than Elf could ever dream of running a team. The Kings run Fox and Haliburton together at the end and put in Joseph, who is a PG, as the secondary ballhandler. The Cavs have been trotting out Sexland and they are pretty undersized. We wouldn't have that problem.

If Oladipo is truly back.... he's looking good. Do we target him in FA? Personally, I would aw I think he'd pair nicely with IQ.
