I EASILY give up Herro in a package for Beal because of the window with Butler, if Butler wasn't in Miami maybe I don't. I had hoped fans would realize how close this team is after the finals watching Butler will this team to 2 wins in the playoffs but I guess not. It's VERY possible Miami won't have another player who can do what Butler can do on the biggest stage for a long, long time.

Based on what Herro did for us in the playoffs, how he is taking form now, and comparing it to the type of contributions Beal can make, my question to you is how much extra would Beal be bringing to the table? Is Beal enough to do addition by subtraction? How much subtracting are you talking about to add just one extra player into a role/position already filled by a young player that seems to be doing a fine job of growing into that role?
I know you are hell bent on making a trade, but it seems you are looking to throw caution to the wind just to get Butler help. You are willing to throw our assets at any shiny object for instant gratification regardless. I’ve said it before, absorbing Oladipo into our cap space next year is a better move than addition by subtraction of what has been proposed for players like Harden and Beal. KO, Iggy, Nunn, and a first for Oladipo at trade deadline is the most I would consider moving. If Wizards would take something similar for Beal, then of course I prefer Beal! But why pay an arm and a leg for Beal when we can get a similar player in Oladipo for much less!

I'm hell bent on getting the most talent to Miami while Butler is in his prime, in 2-3 years he may drop as a player to just very good and although Tyler can score, he's not a complete player at this point in his career.
Beal can be a solid #1 option.
BTW... you're kidding yourself with getting Oladipo for next to nothing. They'll be asking for Robinson or Herro at the very least if not both and their will be bidders if he's getting back to where he once was and if he's not, why would Miami trade for him?
The guys I'd like to see Miami go after would be DeRozen, Aldridge, Lowery, Harden, O.Porter, D.Rose, Z.LaVine but there are others like B.Hield, Beal, Randle, Redick, Griffin, Bjelica, R.Gay. Of course the prices fluctuate greatly on each of these players.
I'm not infatuated with Beal nor really interested all that much with him although he'd be a nice fit with Butler and Bam, I'd rather see Miami look at other options for instance I'd go after a younger possibly cheaper cost player like LaVine for a scorer but I take both over Herro for Butler's window.
What Herro did in the playoffs? He had some nice games yes, but overall his ORTG-DRTG was -8 for last year's playoffs, so a few "big" games really put a band aid over a lot of his bad play some fans. He has potential but he's a few years away from being a real positive every game. I'm still not sure he'll ever be a top 30 player. Do you believe he'll be better then Dragic? I don't think so.

If KD and Kyrie keep their productions up, I feel that we'll need to counter the starpower with Beard but there are a lot of IFs. It's a situation worth monitoring obviously.

There are several names on your list of players I would gladly like for us to target mainly because they will likely not require us to forfeit too much to get them. When you start throwing in multiple names from our squad that were key rotation players on our finals run, especially some of our more promising up and up players, then you start to get into the realm that the subtraction is way too big for the addition you want. And if so, will it be enough to get us back to the finals? Players on expiring contracts will be cheaper to get than players like Beal and Harden. This is why I bring up Oladipo over Beal.

If Sixers get Harden, the East would still be a contested, if not an uphill, battle. Beal is good, KD and Harden are great. Harden/Biid, KD/Kyrie in the playoffs would be hell for any defense
No telling if Beal ever becomes available anyway, Wiz have been piss for about half a decade and he still hasn't shown a desire to wave a white flag. Him and Yanni are city bois
