I'd rather take the #4 pick (hypothetically) next year than have the unrestricted pick in 2022. Because you just never know.

The #4 pick next year is the best scenario for us, in all honesty. They may not fit real well together, but Towns and Edwards have a lot of talent, Russell can put the ball in the hoop, and if you add a top-3 pick in this upcoming draft (likely Cunningham, Mobley, or Suggs), it’s doubtful that the 2021-22 version of the Wolves is bad enough (again) to result in a 2022 pick better than what the #4 pick will be in 2021.

I agree. No way are the Wolves a bottom dweller in 2022 if they land a Cade, Green, Mobley or Suggs this year. I'm perfectly fine if the Warriors land a Kuminga and/or whatever Jalen is left with the Wolves pick and a Moses Moody with our own pick (if he doesn't climb up the draft board).

I hate injuries, and Towns is the very, very, very last person that should have had an injury to start this season after what he has been through, however, his injury could have a massive say in the Warriors future. This is shaping currently as a big 4 player draft in Cade, Mobley, Suggs and Green, and we could land the #4 pick. Anyone of those guns gives me wood.

Wait.

Explain please.

The Warriors get the Twolves first round pick as long as its #4 or lower, and if it's better than #4 we get their 2022 pick instead?

The Wolves very well could be even worse in 2022

Yes I want that 4 or 5 pick in 21..I’d rather pass on 6 or worse and take my good chances in 22

So best case scenario = having the wolves finish with the worst record this season..we’d still be the favorites to get the 4th or 5th pick with no chance at #6

I believe it's top 3 protect THIS upcoming draft.....and goes to unprotected the following year if they land in the top 3 this year.

if we get a high draft pick too, we could pair that with minny's pick to try and move into the top 4 if we are out of that range.

Dubs look like we're turning the corner, but there's a scenario where we end up with two top 4 picks this season. Imagine adding Mobley and one of the Jalen's.

I want that Chet Holmgren kid. For this reason, I like the idea of the Wolves getting the 3rd pick this upcoming draft and then watching that dysfunctional mess implode so that we end up with the #1 pick in 2022. Wiseman, Mobley, Holmgren. That would make a helluva frontcourt.

I want Paolo Banchero, so that he gets chemistry with Nico Mannion for the national team

How are we getting Mobley and Holmgren?

We will see how much they improve but it's not inconceivable that GSW are no better than Sacto, Memphis, NO.

We assume they're better than OKC and Houston if they trade away Harden and continue to have covid problems.

But who knows, the roster is so thin that if Curry loses a dozen games to injury, they may be near the bottom of the WC.

So the Warriors may land in the lottery with their own pick.

Timberwolves fan here. I feel we are attached to the hip with the trade of Wiggins for Dlo but more importantly next years first and with respect like to chime in. The Jazz win was big losing Kat was huge. Hopefully for a week or 2 any longer than that would not be good for us.

Losing to the Lakers and Clippers isn't that big since I think we would lose to them with Kat. Only if we lose to teams we should or could beat would be bad. I do like the Warriors but would suck losing a 4 to 8 pick.

It's possible if both us AND Minny suck enough to be in the lottery this year and both of us land Top 3 picks. Then we'd get Minny's pick in 2022 and hopefully that would be the #1 overall pick. Yes, all that's unlikely. But, don't go crushing my dreams. :D

It will be difficult for Wolves fans seeing Jalen Green in a Warriors uniform for the next 12 years, all for the pleasure of Dlo. Yikes.

You guys need to make a trade for another big. Even when KAT is healthy, you're still light up front, and because of the back court players you have on defense, you need an shot blocker at the back. I think you guys will leak 140ppg nightly if you're GM doesn't start making moves for defenders.

I guesss the Wiz do not want to win any games this season. Wolves is the best chance to get a W for the next 2 weeks. They are going to move RW and Beal soon.
