This is a pretty solid stat line. And this kid might be somebody to keep an eye on as a potential late first/ early 2nd round prospect for our backup center needs.

He seems to have a pretty good foundation to build upon, Even despite being somewhat raw in particular areas. But he does seem to exhibit solid awareness, rotational mobility and acceleration, and a good overall versatile skillset to develop.

He's 6'10 around 225lbs ( currently) with a 7'4 wingspan. He could be a really intriguing bargain option perhaps later in the draft?

Thoughts on Duke as a potentially viable backup guard option ( PGOTF)? He seems pretty solid and with a mature game and consistent. I'm sure he could be had later in the draft ad well.

Drafting someone named David Duke just seems like bad karma.

Perhaps? :dontknow:

But honestly, I'm much more focused on all of the things he could provide to our team on the court. If he was picked up as a late first or early 2nd round pick, I believe he could add solid positional depth. Although admittedly,
I'd much rather prefer Jaden Springer, Josh Christopher, or James Bouknight. And at point Guard, Our best options would be Jalen Suggs ( dream scenario, But not in our range), perhaps Josh Giddy, Jason Preston, And of course Jeremy Roach ( Should we find ourselves in the mid to late 20s' of the draft with a successful season as a playoff team

I mean, if we're already going to be throwing every possible bottom tier dart at the board, I'd rather stay away from someone sharing the name of one of the most racist people in the country.

Joking aside, I don't understand the appeal of trying to figure out a potential 2nd rounder for us so early on.

I'm just exploring that range, As I believe that we'll be looking to pick in the mid to late 20s'. And seeing as how we pretty much have a pretty solid core set now, We obviously should just be looking at additional positional depth at our weakest positions, As I expect us to potentially be a strong playoff team. And playoff teams generally utilize the draft to fill.out their rosters with low cost versatile depth. That's wherein I see us being around the time of the 2021 draft honestly. :D

I just don't think we'll be bad enough to draft AH. Booth's a sniper that would fit in well.

Giddey I think should absolutely be a primary top 3 target for the suns PGOTF considerations.

Tankathon currently has us taking Jared Butler, Baylor PG.

Stats and strengths definitely look good.

This only means that we'll draft John Petty. How do I know that you ask? He is projected to go 57th at thankathon, about the average reach JJ does for "his guy", and plays at a position what we don't really need, and is old. Bingo

22. Phoenix Suns: Josh Giddey (Adelaide 36ers, PG/SG, 2002)

The anticipation of Giddey's NBL debut had been building, and he's delivered through five appearances, averaging 9.0 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.0 assists in 26.7 minutes per game. At 18 years old and playing against pros in a physical league, he's looked comfortable ball-handling and playmaking, showcasing his signature crafty skill and IQ. There should be first-round interest in his creativity, heady play and versatility as a 6'7" combo guard.

I'm really impressed with Jonathan Kuminga so far for G-League Ignite. He's definitely making his case for top pick. Really good athlete, physical, scores well from 3 levels, can facilitate, and very skilled. Green had a nice bounce back game too after struggling a bit in game one. Excited to see more from them.

Giddey seems to be playing really well, but he's kinda like Rubio in that he can't score much.

Couple of other guard targets worth mentioning in the late 1st round - Miles McBride and Davion Mitchell.

I'm a fan of Ayo Dosunmu if we're looking at a guard in the later first round. Seems like a James Jones pick too. Consistent development in college, good 3-point shooter, high BPM (lol).

A while back, There have been some comparisons made for him to that of Jrue Holiday as his ultimate outcome. I was just wondering, Do you see any potential parallels in his overall game to that of Jrue Holiday? Do you feel that could be an accurate projection for him? :dontknow:
