found it. "As part of the trade, L.A. will send to New York forward Maurice Harkless, a 2020 first round pick, a protected 2021 first round swap option, and Detroit’s 2021 second round pick."
Hindsight is always 20-20 but damn this was an EXCELLENT trade for us. Wanted Shamet at the time but Quickley and Detroit's 2nd rounder is a tremendous get
You're right, I mixed it up with the 2023 2nd we got from Detroit
This is where, I think Leon has been good at extracting value in trades so far, just need to see if his drafting skills are good to maximize potential.
We have Detroits 2nd rounders in 2021 AND 2023?
I figure by 2023 Detroit will "ok", but that 2021? Have to figure it's 33-36.
https://www.prosportstransactions.com/basketball/DraftTrades/Future/Knicks.htmSo, Knicks have their own 2021 2nd rounder, and one each from Detroit and the Hornets
Based on Vegas odds (and common sense)
https://www.vegasinsider.com/nba/odds/win-totals/those will be among the worst 5 teams in the league. Let's consider a team like the TWolves or Bulls falls and maybe pushes out the Hornets to 6th worst.
Knicks should have 3 picks between 31 and 36
Since OKC, based on not being that great and playing in the west seems likely to be worst, and just have to assume some team beats the Knicks as worst in the east - let's say Cleveland, Knicks could have their 3 picks land 33-36 - 3/4 picks in succession.
How is this draft for DEPTH?
I know it's strong in terms of depth of the top end, but does the depth extend down to the 30's in this draft?
