I saw him quite a bit back then, with Barkley going over, they were a big deal, and a really tough team. If Pax didn’t hit that 3...I like to think MJ in a Finals game 7 wouldn’t be denied, but who knows.

He kinda reminded me of Judge Asik...err, Reinhold. Sad loss for the league. :(

Christian Wood was the best signing of the summer.

It's called NBA basketball. The NBA is filled with way more ISO ball and PnR than actual basketball sets, ball movement, player movement.

I never thought in a million years Detroit was going to let him just go like that. Dude was tremendous last year in only 20 mins. Its probably going to prove to be a complete steal at 13 mil for 3 years. Dude is only 25. That is the exactly the type of moves I hope AKME do in the future.

Its frustrating to watch, boring.. Also this fake fans noise in the background is like knives to my ears, omg.. Not just cheers, screams, but also some weird noise like they are under loudest waterfalls on planet

Did Cameron Payne find new life in Phoenix? He's putting up good stats this year.

I think they'll be a regular season strong performer but in the playoffs they lack 2 way players and high level scorers. I can see them getting the 6th seed and getting swept or losing 4-1.

I think they have the talent to even force a game 6 or 7 in the 1st round. Reddish and Hunter appear to be their 2 way players, but the team's level of scoring as a whole can offset those who aren't.

Also Capela has looked great so far, he's exactly what ATL needed on the defensive end. I think ATL is a top 4 seed, there I said it!

I think Lonzo would be a good fit here if Coby shows he’s a 6th man scorer. High IQ, long, strong versatile defender, can shoot the 3.

PW would have to develop as a scorer to make it work. Lonzo would really help Lavine play off ball where he’s best though.

I think lonzo is a good target for our group of players. He is within the timeline and will definitely help improve playmaking.

I think we need to get a solid PG and a legit defensive center and we can be competitive

The problem with Lonzo is that he's bad at pull up shooting and scoring at the rim, which makes him bad at P&R creation, thus not an ideal primary creator/offensive engine. Do we really need another one of those?
Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

Jinxed Atlanta, lost to Cleveland and now both teams are 4-2.

Most of their guys are 1 way players. Trae is not an elite player. How are they going to force the Bucks/Heat/Celtics/Nets to 6 or 7?

Nah

In no particular order:
Bucks
Nets
Heat
Celtics
76ers
Are easily better

Probably the Pacers too. So a 6-8 seed at best.

It really was baffling, compounded by DET's decision to sign multiple bigs, some of whom are worse than Wood, to equal or bigger contracts. Wood might be the steal of last FA.

Thibs has the Knicks playing basketball.

Coaching isn't the difference between winning a title and being bad but coaching does matter.

.....

Just as a general note, I am happy with how the Bulls are playing and think that they are noticeably better. However, across the NBA there are very few bad teams. By the end of the season, there is going to be a huge cluster of teams around 0.500 and the Bulls will be behind that. I would not be surprised if the team ends up with the 5th or 6th worst record.

Return to Chicago Bulls
