When it comes to big games I don't see Schroeder realistically being in the closing lineup. He's not very useful out there if he's not running pnr, and it seems like the Lakers are gonna spam Bron-AD pnr to close games and live with hunting switches. I would've liked to see Bron screening Schroeder on a couple possessions at the end of the game. Btw, the refs really screwed the Spurs down the stretch last night lmao. There was one missed foul call on Bron but probably like 3 big ones for the Spurs lol
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

I don't know how you can say that. He's another ballhandler, another good guard defender, and he's proving he can hit wide open 3's at a 40% clip. Probably more useful than Caruso honestly. But if Caruso can be a more reliable shooter I would want him out there with KCP

Nah I get all that but when he's on the floor with the closers it only makes sense to let Bron monopolize down the stretch, but it essentially just turns Schroder into a 3&D guy as far as role goes; and at that point I'd rather just have a real 3&D wing in there then. His ballhandling doesn't get showcased like that because even if Bron kicks it to him Brons crunch time offense whittles the clock down and all that's left is a catch and shoot.

Tbf the Schroeder and AD pick and roll is Mucho bueno, and it’s a good way for them to throw different looks

Man Lebron's shot really does look clean as **** this year, the problem has been shot selection. Of course he's probably about to embark on a couple week stretch of bad 3 point shooting now that I posted this

If Kuzma can play like this in the Playoffs it's over over...

I don't see the Lakers dropping many games in the Playoffs, but since LeBron doesn't really care whether he wins 4-0 or 4-2 it's kind of hard to predict.

Schroder isn't the greatest floor general.

I don't mind the coasting if they close out 4th quarters like they did today lol

Memphis were hot but by the 4th they looked shooked

 You could just tell LeBron was waiting to start scoring in the 4th after dicking around and watching AD miss everything.

Also, it’s amazing how much Caruso adds to those LBJ bench lineups when they extend leads/close gaps.

He really has a golden opportunity this year. Giannis isn't winning it after two years of playoff disappointment, Luka came in fat, Curry and KD probably aren't going to win enough games even if they return to their old form, the Nuggets don't look good enough, and the Load Manager won't play enough. Harden and Trae have a chance though if they keep putting up huge numbers on a 50+ win pace, and Dame might sneak into the conversation if he gets back to his level from last year with the Blazers near the top of the West.

If he wins it he would be the oldest MVP ever with the longest gap between first and last MVP in league history at 12 years. Right now MJ has the record winning MVPs 10 years apart.

He probably needs to get his raw counting stats up (or have the other top teams' records falter) for that to happen though

I agree with most of this, but some more of my opinion

Luka has a legit shot, but the mavs will suffer with injuries to KP, now him, and possibly KP again in the future (or at best he load manages)

KD will have to load manage too much probably, but BKN should be a top 3 east seed

Too early on Nuggets, Jokic still a shot, but Denver would need to be a top 2 seed

Atlanta will eventually drop, he is also such a poor defender

Harden has a shot, but also depends where he gets traded. If he goes to BKN (don't think so), then no shot. But if he goes to PHI or Toronto and they are a top team, he may win it

Agree on Dame, but I don't think Portland will be a top 2-3 team

I think Lebron's numbers will be worse than last years b/c he doesn't need to do as much on offense, but b/c of competition and possibly being the #1 seed, he may just win it by default.

AD playing even lazier than Lebron

I think the MVP is LeBron's if the Lakers can finish with the best RS record. His individual numbers are still looking good and his narrative is the best it's been in years coming off a title + FMVP. The only winning ingredient left is the team record and this is the deepest team he has ever played on. LeBron always lose the MVP race to someone with a better record so if he can change that this year, he will probably win it.

I don't think so, LeBron's production is about to get a drop if he's going to play 31-32mpg this season regularly, and we're living in an era of big stats players. I expect Steph, Giannis, maybe Luka or KD to outproduce LeBron in RS, like it's been for a while. And that's fine, it's all about #5 at this point.

Yeah I'd love for LeBron to win MVP, and he likely has a case for deserving it. But my money (literally) is on Jokic atm.

I've been really impressed by him. His jumper looks great and he plays like a true vet doing all the little things. His contract is gonna be a steal
