AD's play on defense hasn't looked anywhere near that of an actual defensive player of the year thus far. It does appear he's taking it easy out there, which is fine this early into the season.

Honestly they haven't called many fouls in total this game. It feels weird after watching Trae draw so many in a single game.

Well, that was a game we could have given up early in the second quarter and been down 20+ at the half. Instead, we fought back. Our starts have been so bad.

Let's hope shots will start to fall in for AD in the second half.

But overall, both LeBron and AD are still more than not in off-season form and mentality.

Coasting is fine i guess for first 3 quarters keep it within range and then tighten up and try to win it in the 4th.
I could see that as their season plan for the first 20 or 30 games perhaps.

I can see playoff AD and bron emerging right around the 40th game mark.

I mean, for this season as well, does home court really mean anything ? Just get into a top 4 seed so you don't end up playing all the tough teams every round.
