I'm one of his biggest critics, but Ayton looked good tonight.Looked composed majority of the time.

We just went toe-to-toe with one of the leagues top teams, a perennial title contender, and it took a career game from Paul George for them to barely beat us. No shame what-so-ever.

Last season it wouldnt even have been close.

This team is a different breed than what we have had in the past.

He honestly acted like a dumbass the entire game.

I liked him on the Pacers a lot, but he's done nothing but sully his image since then.

Payne +6
Paul -8

Something not quite passing the eye test with Chris Paul lineups yet, hope it's chemistry and not age.

Not mad either about the loss. We had some posters giving up and wanting to wave the white flag but I loved that they came back and fought and made it close. Given our schedule and that we have played all playoff contenders so far, including probably 3 of the top 4 teams in the west, plus blowing out the Pelicans who also have two losses..I feel good. But of course there are probably only 3 teams probably not really in the playoff race in OKC, Minn and probably GS, so alot of tough games.Memphis will probably fall out with Morant out but it doesn't mean they won't be tough and a would be playoff contender when he does come back...and whichever teams play Memphis while he is out gets some assistance.

Tough shooting night, especially that first half. Tough to get a win when your opponent nearly doubles you up in 3PT%. Paul George was unstoppable.

I’m just hoping it continues.. if it does, Suns can really be a top 3 team in the West, if healthy. Love what I’ve seen the last two games.

Tough game against a very good team. Ayton got touches for the 2nd game in a row and looked good again. Nice to see him get some free throws.

That pull up from CP3 was a good shot, and that 3p from Book was good too...but they couldn't score.

Paul George had the game of his life, he isn't scoring 40 again in his career.

Am I the only one who thinks he's missing those mid range shots too much? CP3 always made those shots with ease but I realize from last season he's not making them as much

Lots of positives to take away from this game. Suns are still looking very resilient. This would have been a 50 point blow out in previous years.

The Suns were uncharacteristically cold from 3 point range this game. Especially Cam Johnson was missing wide open bunnies (it was almost as if the Clippers were daring him to shoot at one point).

I really liked that we didn't try to get back into the game by just launching a bunch of contested 3 pointers and hoping we can shoot ourselves back in. Suns were attacking the rim, got to the line, looked for our big man, and started to lock in defensively.

Ayton has looked great in the past two games. Not rushing his shot, playing composed, getting to the line and continuing to look good on the defensive end.

If anything this is a bigger Suns story than it is a Clippers story because we made it a game even though we lost.

Not mad either. I just wish in close games down the stretch they should trust their shooters instead of always relying on isos. It's just a better shot if open than a contested iso attempt....especially if it's with more than a minute left and you have to score multiple times.

That's why teams like GS and LeBron teams where he will always pass to the shooter win it all...less hero ball.

I agree here but it didn't help that Cam and Bridges both have an off game on the same night. If 1 of those guys nor Galloway was cooking its a different scenario.

Still, I can't even believe that they came back and cut it to 2. If I was a clips fan I'd be pissed and worried about what games like this will mean playoff time.

Jeez, I didn't even realize the Clips were almost 60% from 3. They just couldn't miss, while the Suns just didn't have the legs after that tough roadtrip in elevation.

Well, that's not the eye test, that's the 1 game box score +/- test. This is an easy answer. Our best players play against their's, and Paul George was on fire. Paul plays against starters and one of the best starting units in the NBA while Payne plays against benches, usually with Booker also playing against them with him.

Felt like they weren't missing all game lol. We gave them plenty of good looks though.

This team still has so much room to grow.

We aren't stagnate like a lot of teams.

The longer the season goes on the better we will get.

There are some teams that are already at their ceiling.
