When does Quickley get his first 30 piece bucket meal?

Post#1 » by stuporman » Mon Jan 4, 2021 5:48 am

When do you think Quickley gets his first 30 point game? What month? Not as a rook? Or never?

Predict the exact high!! I'll say 33. Sometime in the middle of Feb all the Knicks fans fall in love with him and make him their valentine.

Maybe in the playoffs and instantly becomes the Knicks' Jeter for a summer...

For context Knox did it in January of his rookie season which was his 36th game played and RJ has never done it yet even though he got to 27 twice in his rookie year.

Multiple rank choice vote so it's interesting or waste one on me if you want and gtfo....

If he were starting I'd say tomorrow with Trae Young on the schedule.

It'll be pretty funny when Frank beats IQ & Obi to 30.

...less so when he pulls his groin getting into bed that night, but still for a few hours it'll be hilarious.

It took Frank 3 years to get 20.... :nonono: Not sure 30 anytime soon.

I don't see a clear path to 30 for Obi the same way I do for IQ who can hit 6-7 3balls and 6-7 freebies then only need another 2-3 buckets to get there. If he gets the minutes and right match up he could do it any game now imo.

Funny that whenever I see Chris Paul or Harden do that neck snap when they drive and gets a foul I go  such a bull move.
But now, when Quick does it, I say **** yeah force them to blow the whistle. I still dont get how some players get that call and some dont

I picked "Not this season" as the most likely thing, based on minutes, touches.

But if it it WERE to happen, I'm looking around game 30. Ok, he missed about 4 games. So, for the Knicks, between games 35 and 42.

Enough time to get acclimated, not enough to hit the rookie wall.

Yea, in the type of garbage time of a playoffless year he'd get more minutes coupled with being more comfortable in the league by then so it's the end of season that does have more probability to be it.

You say this now, but when injuries wipe out everyone but Frank & some G Leaguers before our play-in game, it'll be Frank's 9/13 from deep + 5/6 from the line, that leads us to the promised land.

Hard to do that in 15 minutes

Gotta develop our franchise PG, Elfrid Payton, so Quickley can't be given too much time.
BaF Lakers:

Darius Garland/Cory Joseph
Klay Thompson/Shaedon Sharpe
Keldon Johnson/De'Andre Hunter
Evan Mobley/Tari Eason
Nic Claxton/Draymond Green

Bench: Leonard Miller, Jett Howard, Markquis Nowell, Kennedy Chandler, Day'Ron Sharpe

Hopefully Quick stops hurting himself so Thibs has the chance to give him more than 15 minutes
