There are other images and videos there. It is ridiculous. I cannot understand how they cannot find a counter offense for this type of defense.

I snapped a similar one during the Milwaukee game.

I only see 4 Bucks here so there must be someone on the court who is NOT guarding Steph. That guy will probably be benched!

Well this game should silence the doubters for now.

Of course he can't do this every game. May be like the Finals game vs. Toronto where without KD and Klay, he was going to try to pour it on and he scored a ton but then the next game he was depleted.

If he can do 2/3 or 3/5 of what he did tonight on a regular basis, Warriors could be in good shape.

Thing is he falls down a lot after his shots. When you're approaching your mid 30s, it gets harder to pick yourself up after these falls.

But supposedly he's put on some muscle since February, so he's probably going to have to keep doing that in the offseason.

Such a shame a 62 point Stephen Curry game does not have a live Chase crowd to witness it.

Kerr talking about why Curry can't do that every game.

Says you can't make 35-footers all the time. My guess is that he wouldn't want Curry to dominate usage and shot attempts to try to carry the team, rather than work within his offense, share the load with teammates.

After all, he tried to get Curry to buy into off-the-ball catch and shoot rather than trying to create using "flair" or handles for pull up 3s which are the stuff of viral videos.

He's probably right that Curry can't carry the team with high usage. He specifically says Curry is not 6-8 and 250, able to impact the game in other ways.

Still it seems like this roster needs Curry to have explosions like this game more often than in the past 2-3 years.

I saw that, it was super weird when Kelenna Azubuike popped up out of nowhere to say "well he doesn't play that huge sack of **** Enes Kanter every game" and then disappeared as quick as he showed up

Fantastic game....just what we are all hoping for from Steph.

Hoping he gets on this roll and the Warriors join him on a little run.

Many of his shots are right there and just missing and he still has great numbers. Considering the horrible first two games shooting wise.

But he CANNOT take shots for other guys.

He is NOT responsible for guys having historically bad shooting starts.

I’m not sure how Steph or his gravity is supposed to ensure that other players shots are going to go in.

The amount of pressure Steph is getting is far above most of the players in the league yet he’s still putting up the numbers Clyde listed.

Why are people happily looking for a decline?

I mean this is personal experience but I always found hardens way of dribble dribble shoot or drive to be less exhaustive than running as much as curry off screens to get shots or shots for teammates.
He should let curry get the ball in his hands more, and also more pick and rolls with wiseman. Have to adjust to personal a little too

But once they start throwing double teams at him at mid court, there's not much he can do but give the ball up.
Jordan had Pippen. Bron had Kyrie. kobe had Shaq etc etc.
He needs at least one reliable threat to get just a little bit of space and he's good.

I still think Oubre and Wiggins will continue to get better as the season progresses. And the entire team as a whole will build chemistry and the new guys will get a better feel of the offense with experience.

So luckily Steph won’t have to drop 60 every night to get wins.

Still expecting him to score around 27-30+ each night which isn’t impossible. And on nights where he realizes his teammates aren’t knocking down as many shots, he’ll just need to learn to be a bit more aggressive with his shots.

Curry will have to, otherwise you leave Oubre and Green to shoot these threes for 20%.. Kerr is a numbers guy he will figure it out.

Lmao. 62.

Curry is a HOF if he retired 2 years ago. He's one of the greatest to ever play basketball.

3x champ, led this organization out of the gutter, yet people still questioning whether or not he can "carry" a sub par supporting cast to the playoffs? Who gives a f***? This is the type of **** that makes sports social media unbearable these days. Are people really this dumb or just trolling?

Watch the narrative change once again to how stacked we are and how unfair it is next time he leads us to championships.

Steph isn't Tim Hardaway, Steph's ball fakes are elite but without Hardaway's acceleration the prefect ball fake only accomplishes so much. Picks are needed but picks require teammates to know when and where to set picks.

Mark Jackson style picks with Curry on the ball worked fine but Steve Kerr screens with Curry off the ball worked even better. For the Steve Kerr system to work Draymond needs to be Draymond and it would help if Wiggins could be the Iguodala 3rd ball handler.

Having Klay running around moving without the ball and curling around screens added a nice extra layer of confusion to opposing defenses. The current warriors have guys that should be able to catch and shoot while standing still like Harrison Barnes but I don't think these current Warriors can catch and shoot while curling around screens like Klay could. Harrison Barnes type shooting is good enough although it won't create that extra layer of confusion in the opposing defenses,

The 2015 Warrior had 10 guys that had already played a year together. The New guys were Livingston and Barbosa. Everybody else that mattered had been through Mark Jackson's set a thousand picks for Curry system. The new wrinkle was playing Curry off the ball with Draymond as the ball handler.

Now Curry and Draymond know each other but I guess Draymond isn't ready to be Draymond yet. Next is Looney who isn't ready to be Looney and then Damion Lee.
Bazemore played with Curry a long time ago. Then we have Poole and Paschall who played 4 games with the Curry Draymond combination last year. There is no mystery why the current players don't know how to play with Curry.

Both Mark Jackson Ball and Steve Kerr Ball require the teammates to set a lot of good screens. If Draymond is ready to get 8 assists per game then I prefer Kerr ball.

so now that he dropped 62 on the blazers lead by the "better-than-him dame" (according to many so called sport analysts) I guess the new narrative will start soon where "he needs to drop 83 points in a game to prove he can be considered a top 10 player in today NBA"....

Nobody knows anything about this season so far. It's going to be one of the weirdest in NBA history, and even the anointed teams like the Lakers and Nets have had some strange nights. In fact, right now the Warriors have a better record than Brooklyn.

The hot takes need to be ignored. As many of us have said here, it's going to take a while -- twenty games, at least -- before we begin to see the Warriors as they really are this year. Oubre started bad (at least his shot) and is still trying too hard. Wiggins hasn't entirely figured out his role but will settle in as it becomes clearer, and he's certainly showed us flashes. Draymond being back will change a lot of things, as we saw a bit of last night. And Wiseman is only going to get better.

Will we make the playoffs? Who knows, but I wouldn't bet against Steph and Dray. But we sure as hell don't know anything yet.

Oh, and next year we get Justinian Jessup, who may turn out to be a Redick/Korver/Hield kind of shooting specialist. (Or not. Who knows?)

I'm having fun watching this.

Just because Steph is leading the league in points per game doesn't mean he isn't exposed.

But exposed as what?
