Nobody knows anything about this season so far. It's going to be one of the weirdest in NBA history, and even the anointed teams like the Lakers and Nets have had some strange nights. In fact, right now the Warriors have a better record than Brooklyn.
The hot takes need to be ignored. As many of us have said here, it's going to take a while -- twenty games, at least -- before we begin to see the Warriors as they really are this year. Oubre started bad (at least his shot) and is still trying too hard. Wiggins hasn't entirely figured out his role but will settle in as it becomes clearer, and he's certainly showed us flashes. Draymond being back will change a lot of things, as we saw a bit of last night. And Wiseman is only going to get better.
Will we make the playoffs? Who knows, but I wouldn't bet against Steph and Dray. But we sure as hell don't know anything yet.
Oh, and next year we get Justinian Jessup, who may turn out to be a Redick/Korver/Hield kind of shooting specialist. (Or not. Who knows?)
I'm having fun watching this.
