I think Kuminga is a Marcus Morris/Harris/late career Rudy Gay (prime Gay was a freak athletically) type of player

Leonard is a freaking savant

Kuminga is a wing.

nah to me Kuminga is clearly more of a PF than a wing, he can play SF in some alignments (like Morris, Harris and Gay too) but ideally he is a PF on offense

Kuminga would be the guy who has that Giannis-type ceiling maybe.

Not at all, Kuminga remains very overrated athletically, he doesn't have that type of toolset as an athlete

Kuminga is an offensive type PF with some ability on D if you have him switch, use his strength, etc, he is kinda somewhat similar to Tobias Harris, top10/lotto guy, but the high ceiling play is non-existant

there is little difference between a 3 and 4 offensively in today's NBA. the difference is defensively. saying Kuminga 'is a 4 not a 3 offensively' is dumb af, doesn't make any sense and it's not actually saying anything. if Tj fricking Warren is a 3 so is Kuminga.

if you want to pretend you are edgy and exotic there are better ways of doing it than stupid ass takes like this.

Kumimga is pretty much the definition of a 3/4 on today's game. Not really sure how Kuminga isn't considered a wing. He can defend out on the perimeter and score from the perimeter.

The dude is a legit wing prospect and has a fantastic ceiling. Huge, athletic and plenty of potential on the offensive end.

What are the early predictions about the depth of this draft? 20-35 range?

where is everyone on Marjon Beauchamp and Kyree Walker? both went the Mitchell Robinson route so pretty HS tape is all we have to go on, maybe work out stuff later.

Kuminga is 18, the same age when Giannis was 6'8" and 190 lbs.

Looks pretty deep for wings and some 2-guards depending on what you think of guys like David Johnson, Franz Wagner, Jalen Wilson, Ochai Agbaji, Trendon Watford, Scottie Lewis, Terrence Clarke, Terrence Shannon, etc.

Unlike last draft, not as many sure fire role players. I think there are more potential high level guys but they are long shots to pan out as few have the definite desirable nba skills for role players.

Kyree Walker is an early puberty all-star who was 1.5-2 years older than most of his classmates and predictably saw his ranking fall over time as the age/physical maturity gap diminished. So I guess I'm nowhere on him.

Not familiar with Marjon but Kyree I've always been low on. I didn't see much in terms of skill just a lot of size compared to the comp. Shabazz Muhammed vibes.

Yeah we can 100% right off Kyree as a prospect I think.

I think the depth is pretty meh, I do like a few guys but seems below average in that range although like always some guys will drop and guys who are bad will go too high, so it may be improved that way

nah, strong depth throughout, 20-35 is solid. should be considered a huge coup to be able to get guys like Lewis, Franz, Watford, Ochai, Wilson, TJD, JRE or Kai in the 20-35 range

This is probably an extremely fringe name, but wondering if anyone has seen Makuach Maluach from New Mexico?

A long, rangy sort of wing who has upped his scoring significantly in his senior year.

Just wondering whether he would get any fringe 2nd/UDFA sort of interest.

Cade was a beast last night, just how many ways he can score. Guy even likes to post up at times.

Agreed, when you already have a stack of solid names throughout the lotto and later + a strong top of the class its surely going to be a good deep draft. Were early still we're going to have even more guys pop out as time goes on.
