Will you trade Sekou for Bagley?

I dont know. I watched some highlights yesterday of some of his big games and wasn't super impressed. I didn't see anything that wowed me. I guess if we can get him for cheap.

Yes, Bagley is worth the risk, I'm not sure how dedicated this FO is to developing Sekou anyway.

Absolutely. Having a player like Bagley will help Hayes immensely. If you can trade for him, and it takes Sekou, then you do it.

Imagine grabbing Bagley while shipping out Blake as well. It doesn't get any better then that. We all know Sacramento's front office is amongst the worst in the league, so there is a definite possibility of them doing something idiotic.

The question comes down to whether or not Weaver has any interest in Bagley.

I would for sure, Bagley in theory is everything you want out of a modern 5. If we have to move Sekou, we can still slot in Bey at the 4 (he might fit better there anyways as he isn't the fastest dude out there) as a backup at both the 3 and the 4, and next to bagley who can shoot the 3 ball we could also play Stewie at the 4. Bagley oozes potential but he was drafted into the worst franchise in the league.

Bagley is very skilled for a tall guy, but he seems really slow twitch to me. Not a good thing for a basketball player.

As for would I trade him straight up for Sekou? Probably. Just a bigger need. Wouldn’t be super thrilled about it, though. Bags has had trouble staying healthy.

Not sure, they both look like bust at the moment but I do think Sekou being 3/4 is more valuable then Bags being a 4/5

No, and mostly because I'm not a big fan of constant tweaking/chasing perceived upgrades before you've ever even hit a point of "We like the guy, good player, just not a good fit on this team but certainly could be somewhere else." I'd give this current team 25-30 games before making a decision that anyone should be considered ready for replacement.

He'd definitely be an upgrade to both plumlee/okafor i wouldnt give up on sekou yet so I'm not sure who you would trade from this roster for him.

I'd trade one of our win now pieces Plumlee or Wright  If im feeling generous maybe i'd include a guy like Svi in the deal. This guy Bagley is a pretty big risk from a health and productivity standpoint. Plus he makes a lot of money being a former #2 pick.

For peanuts, sure. But he's extremely unlikely to be traded for peanuts.

I'd trade for Bagley if he can be had for a very cheap price in trade assets.

As with anything it depends on the price. D.Rose sure thing. Bey? nope.

I’d offer SVI for him to take the risk as long as we could also move Plumlee. I’m not dealing Seku, Hayes, Bey, or Stewart for him. I’m not sure how a deal would be done. I just don’t see Plumlee being a guy that they would take. To really

Why would Weaver trade for Bagley when he could have signed Wood?

No he’s not worth it. Sekou imo hasn’t gotten a fair chance this year, Bagley has!

Because he doesn’t have a first rounder to include in a deal?
