He's not funny, nor competent....

Shaq is hilarious and some of you are taking this way too seriously.
Shaq is an instigator (Troll?) and he's doing it again. It's the same thing he does on the TNT set when he always gets on Barkley about his no rings and what he di d with the Javale McGee clowning etc. I don't see the big deal.

Sir Charles is hilarious....Shaq is as hilarious as a butthurt kid. He's like somebody trying so hard to be funny while ending up being cringe.

I agree with everything you said except I think Shaq does have a PhD of some sort, so he is educated. :P

Shaq was bigger and stronger than anyone else and there was no such thing a established defensive position when he had the ball. He used that big posterior and shoulders to take the space the defender formerly occupied.

Then he hides his intellect pretty good. Seems like a pro in that regard.

No lies detected. Best center in the history of the game would feast on today's centers with ease.

It’s always lowbrow when Shaq says/does stuff like this. Why’re you going at a guy that has nothing to you? Gobert has no doubt worked his butt off to get to the point where a team values him enough to pay him that much money, and have it be justifiable (whether one agrees with it or not). If Utah didn’t pay him that, another team would’ve paid him something similar, and considering how much he seems to impact the game on both ends and contribute to winning it makes sense for a team to want to lock up their big man spot with a player of his caliber.

Shaq always gets caught up on the numbers, but misses the intricacies to the game. He talks about “this guy needs to get 27/15,” but those are just numbers and don’t reflect any actual dominance/impact per se. KAT might put up better raw numbers than Gobert, but the last couple of years Gobert either has comparable or advanced/impact stats that outdo KAT’s; but from Shaq’s perspective, KAT getting paid a max/supermax deal would be justifiable.

Lastly, he mentioned Gobert being an 11PPG player, and while he was likely just being snide in his remark, it’s wholly inaccurate, nonetheless. Gobert the last couple of years has been averaging roughly 16/13/2 on 68%FG (17/14/2.5 per 36). He’s trying to make Gobert out to be some inconsequential role player and that just couldn’t be farther from the truth — he’s a high level game-changer on both ends.

I'll never get why people act like Gobert is some kind of offensive liability. Sure maybe you'd be better off with a different center, but it isn't like he doesn't contribute or that he's destroying spacing. He's a threat off ball and a great screener if NOTHING else. That's useful...

Well obviously... Still not sure why he continues to be such an insecure cry baby. Almost makes President of USA seem like an adult. Almost.

Couldn't disagree more. Look up Shaq funny moments over the years, dude is hilarious and a national treasure.
Sure he can be petty at times but he's naturally funny but it's all opinion at the end of the day.

They estimate there are only 2,800 7' tall people in the world. Now take that down to ages 20-35. So at any given time, how impressive are their performances? Charles is right about Shaq.

Never liked Shaq from day 1 when he entered the league. Don't find him funny. His humor is for people who enjoy stupid comedy ala watching someone trip and fall down.

As a Spurs fan I didn't like how he would always talk garbage about Robinson and Duncan. I thought he was real classless when he took an indirect parting shot at Duncan after the Lakers won the title in '02 when he said "Jason Kidd was the real MVP." That was a cheap shot against Duncan. Shaq knew Duncan had lost his dad to cancer during the '02 playoffs and still decided to be petty about him getting the MVP.

Shaq is just like a woman. He needs to be the center of attention and likes to pick fights.

Shaq is starting to remind of Scottie Pippen. Seems like there was a time when Scottie said "I could shut down Nowinksi(he did say it wrong)" every time he was on TV. Scottie's thinks his legitimacy is questioned because he was Mike's second fiddle, and he's insecure because of it.

I don't understand why Shaq is this way. He was the best player on three championship teams and an integral part of another.

He's constantly trying to **** on the bigs in the league. He got mad at Dwight Howard because the fans started referring to Dwight as Superman, and Shaq tried to give himself that nickname back in like 93. Dwight didn't do anything.
