DVOA, DVR, VHS, doesn't much matter to me. The defense has obvious warts. They are on the field way too much. Giving up 8 minute drives that end in points far too often. When is the last time they forced a punt on the opening drive ? They were aggressive in the run game vs the Titans, but still far too passive vs the pass. Allowing Trubisky to complete pass after pass after pass in the flat for 8 yards a pop when everyone knows his % downfield is unacceptable. Three man rushes with off coverage far too often. Rarely dictate anything. Just simply sit back and wait for a penalty or boneheaded play to bail them out time after time. Annoying in the regular season, deadly in the playoffs. I am never confident they wont give up 40 on any given week regardless of opponent. I'd be happy if they prove me wrong.

Let's hope it is icy/snowy/cold if we have to face the Bucs. What killed us the last time we faced them was their pass rush. Perhaps Lambeau in January will slow that rush down a little.

I think King is solid, but I would look another direction next year since his deal is up. He's got a tough job, because teams don't even look Jaire's way, so everything funnels to his side or to the slot/underneath stuff.

In his defense, last season, it seemed like every big play given up by the defense was the guy he was supposed to be covering. That's been limited in a big way this season, but it doesn't negate some of the mind numbingly dumb stuff he does (like the arms underneath body launch tackle).
