The mocks still have him too low. B/R updated mock today has him at 12 going after BJ Boston lol. I wish there was a way I could bet on this stuff. He’ll be in the top 5 discussion. UConn is essentially showcasing him. He doesn’t have an offensive flaw.

If the Hawks could somehow get this guy considering he'd probably be slotted somewhere along the 10th pick would be incredible. He's like the missing piece to the team.

The guys that gets less love are the guys who make the jump from fr. to soph. Obviously the upper classmen in college are just about maxed out. I expect the Nesmiths and Toppins to be plus NBA players from the current draft class.

Shot release and skinniness reminds me of Kevin Martin, but looks like a much better finisher and hopefully better defensive instincts.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?

Game tomorrow at home against a DePaul team with good guards. He probably won’t come out of the game. He’s going off for at least 24.

It’s weird people saying he’s too skinny. Dude packed on a lot of muscle since last season. It’s really obvious.

Still the best college guard I’ve scouted. Athletic at the hips, functionally athletic, the entire arsenal of offensive moves, ambidextrous ball handler, pacing is perfect, tough kid who can finish through hard contact consistently. He sees doubles on every touch now, on a good team. The defensive flaws are grossly exaggerated, UConn is best defensive team in the big east. Have to think he’s top 10.

At this point there is no way he isn't entering this year. Too much hype.

Plays tonight against Marquette who’s featuring NBA prospect Dawson Garcia. Should be a good game.

One of the more intriguing prospects whos sure to rise closer to the draft. He pretty much has a complete game.

I think we found his one weakness. DURABILITY. He just had elbow surgery after a hyperextension, out indefinitely. They have been dodgy about how serious it is. If it’s a complete UCL tear YIKES, that’s about as bad of an injury as you can get as a basketball player because of how important elbow mobility is. Will require reconstruction and 8-9 months of rehab, some players are never the same. Hopefully it’s only a partial tear.

I’m always concerned about these players with slender builds who play violent and aggressive like Bouknight does. This style of play is not conducive to a long NBA season. Guys like this may be better putting on some weight and playing a little slower, unfortunately, so he can at least stay on the court. Had a bad knee injury in high school as well. I’m dropping him out of my top 20 for now.

Bouknight didn’t miss a beat in his return to the court. It’s rare to see someone who just scores so effortlessly at every level. He’s a supremely talented player and really may end up being the steal of the draft.

This kid is going to be a star at the next level. Bouk it!

Not really sure how much more Bouknight can rise. Despite how impressive he's been, I have a hard time seeing him cracking the top 5 in this class...and he should already be at or towards the top of that next tier with Ziaire, JJ, Moody, Barnes & the Tennessee kids; with one of the shortest paths to becoming a star at the next level.

He can absolutely rise - his draft stock is already here and he has been injured most of the season. If he does something in the tournament with UConn, look out.
