B. They didn't make him stand in the corner off the bench. Dude never gets the ball in his hands.
C. He were on a different team. The Wolves are hexed.

I feel sorry for Edwards.

Hurts but true.

The problem is he can simply try to be Hali and not force shots but thats just not his game. I would recommend him to be a efficient 3and D aka Leonard/Butler and then expand his game instead of going lavine 2.0.
Both have some issues in a different way but its always better to be more efficient.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

I’ve like Desmond Bane out of the draft and was hoping he would fall to the Lakers at the 28th pick but we traded it for Schröder (who has been playing well so I’m not complaining). Bane fell to the Grizzlies and as I expected he’s off the bat probably the best or 2nd best shooter from the draft.

I dont mind as it's what, 7 games in, He's shown some good things, However would love to see him be more aggressive, However our team right now is a bit of a hot mess, when Dlo can dribble the ball 10 seconds and take flat footed 3's and get away with it, Malik (Our best player right now) absolutely fades in and out at points, it's not a great location for any rookie.

But from what I've seen here's my top 10
1 Haliburton
2 Wiseman
3 LaMelo
4 Edwards
5 Williams
6 Avdija
7 Anthony
8 Achiuwa
9 Bane
10 Pritchard

And there's a few other guys who could be good too (some injured):

Okoro
Toppin
Okongwu
S. Bey
Vassell
Pokusevski
Quickley
Bolmaro

Sneaky good draft, everyone said it was a terrible, weak draft, but early on it looks like loads of legit players in it.

No everyone said it was weak on star power, everyone agreed that there were good role players. No one has really flashed signs of being a star. Lamelo and Wiseman have potential but no body has really had a big performance yet.

still a terrible draft. 2 of the top 3 dont look like all stars and all the good role players are low first round.
In the end, top talent is what wins chips.

You've got to be kidding me, Edwards, Wiseman, and Ball all look better than I thought they would at this point, they're doing fine. Of course they're rough around the edges but all 3 of them are going to be in the league for years.

Being in the league for years and being allstars are different things. No one has said they can't be good role players or starters. But do any of the top three look like potential allstars?
Morant and Zion looked pretty good right off the bat
Luka and Trae Young obviously looked fantastic.
Simmons, mitchell and Tatum had pretty great rookie seasons.

Right now the ROY leader is probably Lamelo averaging 12/5/5. It's not bad for a rookie but not even in the same realm as the top guys from recent drafts.

This kid can ball. Already a good 3 pt shooter too. He's gonna be wild in a couple years when he gets more touches and continues to develops.

not just good. near elite just need more touches. most of his shots dont even touch the rim which is just crazy.
how many rookie start on a playoff caliber team (5-3) and impact the game as well as him? nobody. hes untouchable.
AK really needs to get rid of White, Carter so he can take 15 shots. if hes anything below j brown, i will be very disappointed.

I am super intrigued of this player! Young and effective 3 n D guards are fascinating to me :). Why trade White and Carter though, aren’t they hella young?

Lamelo has definitely flashed signs of being a star. But that was the rap on him before the draft anyway. Whether or not he can ever consistently produce star performances is the million dollar question.

I really hate this for him and the Pistons. I wish Hayes a speedy recovery.

Edwards needs a ton of work and Wiseman is way too raw to be apart of a winning team. The Warriors are getting by despite his deficiencies. Kerr has also gradually begun playing him less. Simply put, he's not ready, but they really don't have many other options to get big minutes.

Outside of LaMelo, none of these guys would get redrafted as top 5 picks in a regular draft. They are borderline top 10 picks. They are what we expected thus far.

They get drafted based on talent and potential they would still go top 5 in some drafts. I dont think Wiseman is a better prospect than say deandre ayton but his frame athleticism mobility is hard to pass up for many gms. Imo Edwards is a better prospect than Brad Beal(who is a perennial all star) who went 3rd and victor oladipo who went 2nd doesn't mean he will be as good as them or better than them but he has a higher ceiling and slightly more natural talent than both of them. His #1 spot in this weak(er) draft class is warranted.

Psychotic. It didn’t make sense. I don’t know how you make it make sense

This is the kid I really wish we could've gotten at #8. Obi's intelligence has made me warm up to him, but PWill would've been perfect next to RJ for the next decade.

I love hyper intelligent 3/4s with length, shooting & maturity beyond their years. And PWill finds small ways to impress me every time I watch the local team play.

Never gets the ball in his hands? He's putting up 13 shots a game in only 25 minutes a game.

He's not an efficient player right now, but I'm not sure he'll ever be an efficient scorer and that's fine.

At the 3. He has a very calm confidence for a 19 year old rookie, physically a tank, can pass and handle the ball well and plays great defense.

At the moment he's the last option on the starting lineup so he focuses on defense, but when he gets the ball, he will likely show some good stuff.

I had Wiseman, Haliburton and Patrick Williams as my top three guys coming into this draft. If I had to rank all of them right now, those would still be my top three.

LaMelo is doing a bit better than I thought he would initially, but he's pretty much where I thought he'd be, same with Edwards.

Even with the rough start, I think Hayes will still end up being one of the better players in the draft.

Pokusevski is one of the guys I thought had the most potential in the draft, he's struggling right now but he's already shown more than I thought he would this year.

I had questions about whether or not Avdija would be able to translate his game to the NBA, looks like he's not going to have much issue doing that.

Achiuwa, Pritchard, Bane and Quickley all look like players who should've been taken higher than where they were actually picked.

Vassell and Maxey are two guys who haven't gotten much playing time yet, but I expect them to end up being steals as well.

he's been running mainly at the 3 till Lauri went out but he's also played some 4.
