That work out?
Dallas gets another playmaker/shooter who is locked up longer than lowry.
Toronto doesnt take on any meaningful salary and shed salary immediately(10 million) gain a few late picks
Boston sheds long term salary of Kemba and brings in a savy vet Lowry to run point and hopefully sell him on resigning cheaper.

Kemba
Doncic
Richardson
FineySmith

FVV
THJ
OG
Siakam
Baynes

Lowry
Smart
Brown
Tatum

Since Dallas is paying the price for Lowry, why are they taking on Kemba's risk and letting the Celtics have Lowry? I think Dallas either cuts Boston out(most likely) or Boston pays Dallas to take Kemba so they can get Lowry.

What picks are you taking about? If I remember Dallas can't trade a first since they owe The Knicks a couple picks as per the Porzingis deal. I don't think Toronto wants Carsen Edwards I mean what's his role a guy fighting with guys like Watson, Bembry and others for pt? Boston's pick probably is going to be late and THJ does nothing for Toronto. This is just giving Lowry away. Boston is stealing value from Dallas

James Johnson and Brunson also aren't going to get a deal done.

Thybulle and the Philly 2021 1st gets it done (along with Bembry/Davis; Green/Scott/Fergusson)

Swap Davis with McCaw or another piece and I think it looks fair.

Yeah I could live with that only little problem is Toronto can't shoot after this Thybulle is a great defender like OG but neither are what you would ever consider consistent three point shooters. I know that it's probably nit picking but Toronto asks that Davis stays here and Johnson or McCaw head to Philly with Lowry.

I would look to immediately move Danny Green to another team because he has no role here

cut boston out. We give a first, Kemba and have to pay Johnson 15 mill. all this to imporve on Pritchard/Smart/teague/Kemba.

Lowry has to go to a team that needs a pg, not to a team like the celts for an incremental improvement. and losing 1/2 our TPE for a player we have no interest in keeping in Johnson.

just send Hardaway to toronto for Lowry and Johnson to carolina for Graham then.

Lowry to Philly just makes too much sense not to happen IMO.

He gets to go home and compete for a championship. Optics are very important when trading the best player in franchise history.
Morey knows his value. Embiid has always been chummy with him.

He's still absurdly impactful.
He can be re-signed for a reasonable figure
They have the combination of expirings and youth to make a deal work.

Green and Scott to match salaries. Maxey and/or Thybulle and a 1st round pick(s) as the incentive. Do it.

Yeah the good news is that Philly has the salary to match, they have Thybulle and Maxey, they have picks. So there’s something to work out there if both sides are motivated.

TOR: Lowry, 2022 1st Round Pick
OKC: Horford, 2021 1st Round Pick (OKC)

OKC gets out of the final 2 years of Horfords deal. The price is a pick downgrade. We get two lottery picks to rebuild as well as upgrade a big weakness with a high character vet who will expire when we are ready to contend again.

OKC has no reason to care about Horford's contract. Theyre not in the tax

Terrible for the Pacers

Pacers have zero reason to be interested in that

This is a Maxey too heavy for the Sixers too.

Yeah.....I'm not going there

I like Lowry's fit but to give up all that for 1 postseason wouldn't add up.

good luck. Lowry is about to be the best FA available in a class many teams were preparing for. Lots of teams have cap space and not much to spend it on. Even at 36, dude's primed to get a decent pay day, if only for 1-2 years. I can see Miami giving him 2/40 or something along those lines or even Dallas doing the same

I think 1st/Thybulle/filler is fair tho
