I kinda wish it wasn't Chuck though. Dems could use new leadership in the Senate.

Any Dem could have challenged him for the leadership position but they decided not too. Same with Pelosi. No complaining about Dem leadership now. You take the good with the bad.

Transitional AG. More like Ed Levi than - say - Loretta Lynch or someone else more inspirational.

This does allow us to put some uber young liberal on the DC courts.

Also - he's surrounded by a good promising team of women as Deputy AG, Assistant AG Civil Rights, and Associate AG in Lisa Monaco, Vanita Gupta, and Kristen Clarke.
