Just doesn't add up does it. I'd think Capitol has a very secure perimeter on any average day, let alone today.

He might be tried for treason now

The death penalty is usually for espionage, not treason, but he has pushed it over the edge and I cannot see how Trump is not taken down hard for this

Thank god we won the Senate and will be able to chair all of the committees

Serious investigations will commence in a couple of weeks

This really put a target on the GOP and will put a whole bunch of them out of business once the findings are made and the recommendations for prosecution are submitted to the DoJ

It looks like a few random people are holding House floor door closed. They don't even look like police. Like paiges. Holding the House door closed.

You know I don't even blame the protesters as much as Trump, Republicans and the police too to be honest. Can't let this happen. Bitter lesson.

It is more than that. You do not turn down that request unless it is a coup attempt. This is sedition writ large, a coordinated effort right down to online communications with mob leaders advising them to storm the buildings

Pretty sad. But could see it coming, although no way you let the perimeter be breached.

Not surprised this in the least that this is happening. He's been building this up for 5+ years.

I still have idiotic cousins defending this buffoon. Might have to cut them off

So like, according to the right, I have the legal ability to leave my home in CT, travel across state lines with an assault rifle, and start shooting these rioters, right?

I mean, I feel the need for self defense.
