Lou could be checked out, but so far in the season overall he's shooting quite solid from 3PT range and his turnover rate is down a lot (0.6/game before tonight), so he might just be older and trying to fit into a different bench situation.

Lou's been a journeyman throughout his whole career for a reason, and it's not because of Ballmer. Players like him are always alluring to teams until they start seriously trying to win, then the glaring deficiencies in his game and his poor playoff performance make him an obvious candidate for a trade.

His TS% has slowly gone down as a Clipper:
17-18: 57.4%
18-19: 55.4%
19-20: 54.6%
20-21: 51.8% (too small sample)

He was 1.9% under the league average of 56.5% last season, in 18-19, he was close enough since the league average TS% was 56.0%, so just 0.4% under. So with his seeming linear decline in scoring efficiency (this year, the lack of FT's and lower FT% is the issue), maybe it's time for him to shoot less anyways.
