Batum man. I’ve run out of good things to say about him.

Leonard and Green are friends. That’s probably the only reason Leonard didn’t end him after the foul.

Oh, so Morris asked to come off the bench because of how Batum has been playing, interesting, that's very good.

Batum has more than earned a starting spot for the rest of the season.

So it's essentially Morris taking Monsnake minutes while having a real defensive center off the bench in Zu. The second unit is MUCH more balanced now. I dig it

Nice win against a scrappy Dubs team. Gave up a lead, but rallied and went on a run to finish the game off. Props to Kawhi for not settling and being aggressive and getting fouled, and of course, Big Shot Batum for hitting those back to back bingos that pretty much broke the Dubs spirit.

Swap Lou with George Hill and our 2nd unit is set. Reggie Jackson actually has been decent so far.

Mad respect for him being a team player. Of course, it also helps that he already got paid

I criticize Beverley but this time he deserves positive comments. Performed great D against Curry without foul trouble. Whole team played smart defense when Dray taking uncontested and Pascall taking contested shots.

Also happy to see Morris in good shape in his first game. Looks like that miserable Lou-Kennard-Reggie lineups are out of the window when we are healthy.
2023 Clippers W/L Count (44-27)
(Russ at bench 35-14)
without PG13 3-3
Without Kawhi 3-3
Without Russ 6-6

Not only that but Kawhi just played 3 games in 4 days. With a mask on. This is all I ever asked from him, because this is Kawhi's team. That's why PG is here and why we traded away 10 years of draft picks.

All I ever asked is for Kawhi to OWN it. If he does, we're gonna win this whole **** thing!

Good win. This team is going to be dangerous if we can stay moderately healthy. And I prefer Morris to come off the bench. That would mean less staggering Kawhi & PG and they would be fresher late in games.

Good win. Steph Curry is one of the NBA's best men, and maybe the best shooter of all time, and I agree I don't like to root against him.... but Clips held him to THIRTEEN POINTS.

I don't think I have ever seem a worse first six minutes of a game by two professional basketball teams, but thankfully there are 42 minutes more in the game... and it wound up being a very entertaining contest.

Great to see the entire team suited up and Morris on the floor... 12 points in 18 minutes in first game back, I'll take it.

Anybody notice the FT's? 25 for 25!

What's not to like about this win? Nuttin.

In post game comments Morris said the team chemistry is better this year.

As this team continues to gel and embrace Lue's systems, look out.
The Clipper fan understands the Book of Exodus better than anyone... what it's like to struggle 40 years in the wilderness... and Genesis.. why Cain went after Abel... So fLakers, look out... we're coming.

I really liked the Kennard/PG/Kawhi/Morris/Ibaka lineup we ran midway through the 4th quarter. That lineup, or one with Batum in for Kennard, is our best solution to not really having a traditional point guard.

Whatever we do, don't put Lou/Reggie/Kennard on the court at the same time.

If he can keep that type of defense up, it literally doesn't matter what he does at the other end. All he has to do is space out his fouls.
