Sucks we cant rely on Simmons for any offensive production — no post-up game, meh at finishing, and definitely no face-up.

Love his athleticism, passing, and defensive but he can’t be our 2nd best player.

Y’all are so thirsty for Harden that any small setback totes proves whatever you want it to lol

Relax. It’s gonna be like this sometimes... especially this year

Bro, you can just quote me if you want to call me out haha! I'm just sick of this ****. We are pulling a Brett Brown Sixers "give up to crappy teams before the game even starts look". It's not a hot take that we had a cake schedule. It's not a hot take that SImmons has looked exactly the same. It's not a hot take that we have no one who can score apart from Jo, Tobi, and sometimes Shake. It's not a hot take that this team as currently constructed is not a championship caliber team. I want a change. The process was about finding a superstar. We have one in Jo, and could have two in Harden. Games like these tell me that Brett Brown was partly to blame, but a lot of it just has to the with the flaws of our best players. We most definitely need a 20-30 ppg scorer who can get his own shot from the perimeter. I love your glass half full attitude, but can you honestly tell me this team will just magically improve based on coaching, and a little better spacing? Fact remains Jo still has a **** ton of games where he goes through the motions (looked like that at the the beginning of the Wizards game). We are not going to have another opportunity like this. Morey will have to pull out a rabbit out of his hat to get us Beal or Lavine.

I'm not sure how blinded I was to how atrocious of a finisher around the rim he actually is. He just doesn't have that natural scoring touch. Most of the time he's literally just throwing something up in the vicinity of where he thinks the rim is.

And I'm not sure the stubborn play designing that's hellbent on him getting the ball out of the post when he has no footwork or an adequate back to the basket game; unless it's for a collapse and kick.

He was doing a decent job in previous games as an off-ball screener cross court after the Embiid double, but him initiating offense tonight has just been awful.

No Webber, it just means ONE bench guy got unconsciously hot from 3 tonight, that's all it means.

We tend to let that happen a lot. Like Beal going for 60. Granted he's a stud, but it happens a lot with Philly man.

Ben annoys the **** out of me too y’all. I also question if this is real or not.

However this is our second and it came on a back to back.

This is not a game that proves anything or not lol

Saw more glimpses today of something amazing with Maxey and Shake.

Thybulle is a nothing player though and should eventually be flipped for a (kyle lowry) player who can contribute towards a playoff run

The worst part about ben simmons isn't his broken shoot, is his unwillgness to improve

Dude has been the same player for 4 straight years, and It will continue like that. So yeah, we are doomed

Yep

It’s Harden time if you can get him. This looked like a playoff game Ben Simmons was basically useless.

I am just curious why 2 nights in a row Ben isn't being put onto the teams best offensive weapon. As we know from personal experience, taking away a teams primary option puts too much pressure on lesser pieces that often fall apart as a result.

Starting unit mailed it in. Poor effort from the jump. These B2B’s in the compressed schedule are gonna be a problem.

I’ve also seen enough Ben post ups. Should never run that play unless it’s by accident.

Should have run the half court offense through Shake and Maxey the entire game. Those two are for real.

I know Maxey is still at least a year away, but just watching him makes me think it could be a mistake giving him away as part of any trade. I'd rather sacrifice an extra first round pick or even two than give away a guy who looks like he's going to develop into a very good starter.
