Whoops. I copied and pasted from last game and forgot to change that( never do game threads when half asleep). Will fix when I get home from work unless a mod wants to do it before then.

Great to see the Blazers build a big lead. Portland could use a blowout or 2.

Good game. And a bit of a reality check for those who had already declared gtj the GOAT

Great win.

Sadly, lost in the mix right now is that Hood is playing about as poorly as one could coming off his terrible injury. I didnt think it would be this bad. I hope he can round into form, he seems to love the org and his teammates, but right now I am considering anything he gives us a nice surprise.

Agreed he looks slow with no burst or bounce. He was never a crazy athlete but he had a quick first step. Hope he finds that again but seems weird Portland gave him a bigger contract after an Achilles injury.

Even with the big win I wasn’t all that impressed with Portland last night. I thought they just outclassed minny, and dame just said f it and took over right away. Still too many bad possessions. Just not enough ball movement and player movement on this team. It’s not a very fun team to watch unless dame or cj go unconscious

I still love Gary’s game. I just feel like he’s underutilized with this iso heavy offense. Clearly that’s not his game

MIN is so bad, would have been terrible to lose that game.

He’s solid but I think like many young blazers in the past he’s overrated by a select group of fans

Solid game and it was nice to see some different defensive plays in this game, though this is pretty much the worst team in the NBA so it should have been easy for the Blazers.

7% of the Blazer offensive possessions are ISO playtypes. That is 8th in the league as of tonight's games. Last year they were 2nd but half of leader Rockets and closer to the median than to the Rockets. I think folks are seeing other playtypes as ISOs, maybe high pick and rolls. Besides, a sharpshooter is used better if he teams with one-one drivers, even in ISos.
