His form does look great, clearly has a ton of confidence in it. FT shooting is back to 76% too

AD has too many games where he just doesn’t bring it. 36 year old LeBron shouldn’t be giving more consistent effort than him.

Yeah it was.

Clanked two at the line though
But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"

Spurs +21 from the 3pt line. 16 made 3's to LA's 9. Not going to win any games with a deficit like that.

LeBron has shown very little burst the last couple of games. Looks, well, 36.

O well. It's a good loss. Will make 'em play with a little more effort.

Only way would be to generate turnovers and/or shoot a lot of free throws. Lakers are bottom 5 in FTs attempted and of course are clanking them tonight.

On another note, Caruso still a plus in every game played.

AD at the 5 and playing 5 out in the playoffs...that looks pretty good.

Spurs have been really good this year. Like really good. Almost back to vintage Spurs except no Duncan and other HOFs so their ceiling is lower. Also they played like they really wanted this. The champion is always going to run into these teams in the regular season who hit everything

Also, is it bias or is Kuzma never on when his shotmaking is needed? like when clawing deficits

For as much praise as Caruso gets Kcp is clearly the 3rd most important player on this team

Im actually kinda shocked by this loss. Bron always wants to win against the Spurs due to his respect level for Pop being his Goat coach. They went 4-0 against them last year IIRC

I think theyll make the playoffs TBH

remember its playin format up for 7-10 seeds. No way theyre out of the top 10. And in a playin format its hard to see the other teams on that playin tier beating them in a game of that magnitude

theyll get clubbed by one of the La teams in the 1st round tho

Man I wish we really start to play with more effort, starting with AD

We lost a few really good perimeter defenders and losing KCP for a bit hurts

Kuzma is so inconsistent and such a poor shooter besides the corners and we will be stuck with him this year. His biggest positive is being able to score if AD or Bron sit.

Feels like Kieff will be more reliable again come playoff time

Wes has been so hit or miss, feels like DG

Marc has had a lot of ups and downs as well

Not sure if we need another defensive minded guard/wing or a big like Dedmon

THT looks nice offensively but sometimes so lost on D

AD hasn't actually shown up for the season yet. Lebron at 36 seems to be taking it more serious, even Schroeder has shown more urgency

Playing teams in mini-series spurts this year is a drastically different dynamic than having the games spread out throughout the season. For instance, when you're playing a team and beat them twice in a row, like the Lakers did, I'd imagine they'd get quite bored by game 3.

AD should probably look in the mirror first. His effort this season has been absolutely atrocious.

It dawned me during the game yesterday while LeBron was rallying them back that with a field of flawed candidates he might screw around and win the MVP lol. Would be hilarious if he lost out in all these years going against guys having historical statistical seasons only to win one at 36 off a 70 day off season in a year no one expected him to try.

Maybe someone will run out ahead but as good as they've been it's gonna be tough for Jokic and Embiid to hold the numbers and more importantly the narrative for 60+ more games.

Honestly I think its between him, Jokic and Giannis which is more or less how I felt when the season started except that Luka might get into the mix but I think he's sort of going sideways this year and his team will probably be like a 5-7 seed which means a hard no on real mvp talk.
