Well, finally our first game against a team that doesn't really have much chance of going anywhere and no postseason expectations. We should be able to finally really beat someone convincingly, but obviously you can't take any team in the NBA lightly

I know we beat the Pelicans handily since they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from 3, and pulled away from the Kings in our second match, but every team we've played is significantly better than this one.

They are also missing their two upstanding citizens in Josh Jackson and Derrick Rose, as well as their prized rookie, Killian Hayes.

Saddiq Bey had a good game lately though.

I'm just here for the charms - ooooor I can write a 5000 word, very detailed essay on how the Pistons are a team who have a chance of beating us. :D

Hopefully we take this game seriously and come out on fire. I'd love it if the starters didn't even need to play the 4th. We've had a fairly tough schedule so far, so it's nice to face a non playoff team, but no team in the NBA can be taken lightly.

Jalen Smith out due to covid protocols.

Can't remember many teams winning once this happens as it could be tough to be at 100% focus on the game.

Rose and Josh Jackson are probable for the game. I don't think it will be an easy one at all, they don't have drummond anymore who was a pain but they are on a 4 game losing streak and will probably play hard to win at home, if we aren't focused it could easily lead to a close game. Especially if we start the game off slow like we have been and they get a lead and some confidence. A game we should win surely but I think it will be a close one. (we've also lost 7 games in a row to the Pistons, our last win was Nov 2016)

Derrick Rose always plays well against us, I have nightmares with his performances since his Bulls days.

That dunk on Dragic...****...

I remember that Gentry used to put Grant Hill on him, but did not matter, so tough to guard with his handles and scoring ability in the paint.

Bridges has already suffered him. We lost a game with a terrific game from Rose with Bridges in front of him some time ago, so hopefully he has learned a lesson about how to defend him.

But Jerami Grant has been playing great so far, so probably Bridges will defend him and CP3 will handle Rose.

Griffin has been terrible and hopefully he continues to struggle against us. Crowder is a good matchup.

All in all this is the easiest team that we have faced so far this season, we must win.

This absolutely has to happen imo. Detroit is a bad team to begin with and now their missing players as well. Plus we have a back to back tomorrow against a very good team so we need to limit mins for our starters tonight.

Ideally, none of the starters play more than 28 mins in this one.

And most importantly, we come out of this game with no injuries. Just looking around the league, so many teams are losing players left and right to injury which may be part due to a rushed offseason, limited training camp etc. I think the only thing that could stop the Suns from becoming a playoff team this season will be injuries so hope we can stay healthy.

Something about Detroit today scares me. I hope we take them serious.

I hear ya. These are the games that suck beyond words when you lose. If we end up having the starters in at the end to eek out a victory, that is still a loss to me. Detroit is basically us last year. I'm hoping Galloway has a way better revenge game than Jackson. Bust out with the freakin charms.

We shouldn't overlook Detroit despite their record, half of their games were against Boston and Milwaukee. They stole one from Boston last week, and they're supposed to get Jackson and Rose back tonight. Jackson will definitely want to play his best game, and Rose always kills us. We're definitely the better team, but we can't come out like we did in Sacramento.

The players better take every team serious considering that’s what they get paid to do.

CP3 keeps saying they want to pile up wins. I think Monty, CP3 and Crowder will make sure guys take every team seriously. I hope so.

Well, nothing is that easy in the NBA, so I do hope they don't take it lightly, but Paul seems like a guy that doesn't let a team do that, and a lot of guys are still out to prove themselves.

Blake Griffin is also back, but he seems like a shell of his former self.

Got to stack those wins especially when you have nearly a full healthy roster because that might not always be the case.

Now with how many 3s teams take these days you will see some outlyer games where either you can't hit **** or the other team can't miss.
