Why did everyone even defend this guy in the first place? This guy has never won **** for this franchise and yet everyone worshipped this guy the entire season. It's just baffling reading all the game threads the past season.

Doc literally played Lou, Milos and Austin in lineups together on a regular basis and didn't see a problem with it. That trio made the Lou/Reggie/Trez lineup look like the 2004 Pistons by comparison. It's possibly the worst defensive lineup I've ever seen in the NBA.

Keep in mind, we were told that this fraud was a "defensive-minded coach" when the Clippers hired him. He was going to instill the toughness and discipline that Lob City needed. He then spent seven years only caring about soft volume chucking and rewarding the worst defenders on the team. He owes his entire bogus reputation to Thibs and KG, much like how Norv Turner is only considered an "offensive genius" because of Aikman, Irvin, and Smith.

Sixers fans don't know it yet, but their team is screwed with this guy in charge. And knowing his elite excuse-making skills, he'll still be there even after Simmons and Embiid get traded.

montrezl is 6-7, 240lbs.

Jokic is 7-0, 284lb, Boban is 7-4, 290lbs.

How in the world is montrezl going to be able to guard these guys?

And just like that, Doc has his first classic Doc loss with the Sixers. An embarrassing loss to a Nets team missing both Kyrie and KD where the Sixers looked like they were entitled to an easy win instead of playing hard.

Sixer fans seem to be either blaming it all on Ben Simmons or writing it off as a "schedule loss." They don't know yet what the Doc experience is like.
