Anyone like me and happy we didnt break the bank
for Kyrie or KD.. Im happy right where we are. Not A good look when, from what i heard, the players knew what kyrie was doing but no one told the coach..Something sounds fishy here.

Nash is a figurehead. He is really no different than Fisher.cooch2584 wrote:for Kyrie or KD.. Im happy right where we are. Not A good look when, from what i heard, the players knew what kyrie was doing but no one told the coach..Something sounds fishy here.

Yes I'm glad. I think Phil Jackson rubbed off on dolan a little bit in terms of saving money
F$+*k the Nets.

I never wanted Kyrie. He is who he is. He’s gonna sink that ship.

Kyrie is a more talented Marbury. The flip side of that is that Marbury was pretty darn talented, but we don't want a cancer like that on this team.

Umm yes I’d much rather have KD and Kyrie and be a Title contender but this ain’t bad either. This leads to long term success for a decade, once KD and Kyrie’s contracts expire the Nets will go back to being the Nets.

didn't want kyrie, but healthy KD you figure out how to make that work.
problem is, he wanted kyrie it appears... so it wasnt gonna work. eek.
my dream was any combination of KD, kawhi, and whoever else either of them wanted... basically BUT kyrie. i would have accepted kyrie and KD because you kinda take that shot. but it's looking about what i expected so far.
glad it ain't us. our FA time will come. in the meantime, we have a coach and a culture that i for once fully believe is going to develop the whole team effectively. this is why i ain't crying over Ws and Ls.
RIP magnumt

they have options. they can, and should, just trade kyrie for harden and be done with it. that'll also help establish that they're in charge because they've given up too much control to kd/kyrie and it's obvious. they're running the team and it's put the coach/management in a bad situation.

Kyrie wouldn’t have been able to handle a big market like New York unfortunately. Honestly still have my doubts about KD

Wish KD and Kyrie stayed out of NY. I went to a bunch of Nets games for like $20 when they had the Scrappy team with DLO and Dinwiddie.

I mean.... if they wanted to play here, we would have broke the bank for both.
I first thought Kyrie was palatable if it meant getting KD, but I'm glad he's not here. He'd be eviscerated as a Knick.... he's got people like Scoop B and others speaking in support for him, but that's just Twitter talk. Sure, Malika Andrews would be following the Knicks around, but the coverage would be nasty against us if Kyrie did what he did.

Kyrie would have eventually become the most hated Knick of all time with enough homers to spice up the internal conflicts in the fan base
Even though KD is not the most mature guy in the world, he is not even close to the toxicity of Kyrie. I think KD is more of a winner than people who accuse him of being a ring chaser do.
As long as they were a package deal it was a no go. I didn't even want KD at the time, but I would have supported him as a Knick without Kyrie.
KD could have done some amazing things under Thibs, but he wasn't in the picture then.
