Our wings from three:
Mikal 0/4
Crowder 2/8
Cam Johnson 2/7
And Griffin is one of the toughest PFs in the league, I thought that Crowder would do a good job on him, but he couldn't handle him.

Has anyone of you ever thought that maybe Booker is on steroids? Think about how much faster and more athletic he has become since his rookie season. And if you look at him then this season he just looks really intense all the time.

Crowder is way too outmatched against big PFs.
This is back to back games now where Siakam and Griffin kicked his ass.

Gotta rebound Monday against the 2nd worst team in the league, Washington.
Beal is going for 50, Westbrook triple double and I'm sure Thomas Bryant will go 14/14 or whatever the **** he did that one time against us...won't be easy

It’s not really working if he is on steroids because he can’t get separation unless he pushes off his defender earning an offensive foul.
Booker’s proven this season how selfish of a player he is. The team shouldn’t win because of CP3 or the bench or anyone else, it’s gotta be because of Booker or nothing. That’s his mentality.
He’d rather the team suck than the Suns win games without him playing hero. He’s a loser.

The FT misses by our best shooters. 1 of 7 in the first half. Book only to the line twice. Ayton twice. Paul, 0 times.
The missed 3's, 17 of 52
What's amazing is we started out 12 of 17 from 3.
That means after that we went 5-35.

Pros:
- Usually rusty shooting improves as the season goes on. Booker has been mediocre from the line (by his standards this season) but I expect that'll improve.
- We did get a TON of open looks . Basically, what happened in the first half, for the most part, happened in the second half. Shots just stopped falling.
- You can still see Ayton and Paul working on their P/R game. If they get in line, this will be a regular part of the game and can help prevent cold shooting nights from the team (where we can mix is up more so every shot isn't a 3)
- The defense was still actually pretty good until OT where they did what they wanted in the paint.
Cons:
- The chemistry is REALLY still off. It's usually pretty simple to integrate role players but we added 2 starters and it's clear the team is having a hard time finding this new offense.
- Booker's FT shooting
- 20 turnovers
Gotta remember, lucky wins always balance out with tough losses. This won't be the last one like this, but we're also going to win some games that we shouldn't win. And we'll win big games too.
Back at it tomorrow.

CP3 has just looked disinterested tonight. Like he's had it with the players he was playing with. No intent, no hustle, no desire to win.
Booker was trash. Worries more about getting touches to pad his stats so those who don't watch us can look at his stat card and think he's played well.
Crowder had a bad one. As did Bridges who was shooting bricks, but unlike some of the others, he knew he was shooting poorly and stopped shooting.
If Saric doesn't knock down the 3's, he doesn't offer much on offense due to lack of athleticism and agility. If he's not knocking them down, Monty needs to try Frank because Frank wouldn't have been any worse than Saric tonight.
DA is fkn pathetic. People get excited because he shows a tiny bit of aggression in a 1min patch on the board. What about the other 47 mins where he floats around putting up weak screens, offering no fight, not trying to draw fouls, avoiding contact on keyway shots, and offering nothing inside? He got beaten by a white crab tonight. If he had a heart, he'd be ashamed of himself, but he doesn't so he'll happily drift off into the night without needing to wash his playing top or warm down. Pea heart!
Monty was complacent tonight. Refused to accept what we could all see that Booker was crap, DA was weak and CP3 was disinterested. Unless they're playing passively intentionally, players just can't flick the switch and go from shooting bricks to shooting the lights out. Writing was there early and he refuses to play the players who weren't ice cold and instead played players on reputation instead of performance.
How Booker got the reputation of being a game winner still has me scratching my head. One of the last players I'd have with the ball in their hand for the final possessions. Yeah, he's done it a couple of times, but it's the whole, "if you throw enough darts..." theology.

The Pistons were what we thought they were.
What we thought they were. We played them last season. We played them the whole game, everybody played four quarters. The Pistons are who we thought they were. That’s why we took the damn court. If you want to crown them, then crown their ********* But they are who we thought they were. And we let them off the hook.

Thomas Bryant is like Ayton’s most difficult defensive matchup in the entire league. Ayton gets scared like a puppy against him for whatever reason, you can actually see it in his eyes.
Westbrick hopefully comes through clutch for us in that game though. I hope Washington doesn’t rest him.

I might have smoked too many joints but I think that Booker might be on steroids. His body language looks kind of roid-rageish.

Washington's hung pretty tough with some pretty good teams too..pretty dynamic backcourt. Bryant is always lik 14-14 against us too.

If Westbrook plays and plays like his usual self then we should be able to at least get that one.

Before the season started, Monty Williams said that he won’t be calling any plays this season when CP3 is in the game because CP3 can create offense for himself and others without any set plays.
I really hope Monty reconsiders this idiotic stance. Run the same sets that we ran with Rubio. If it worked with a non shooter like Ricky then it should be amazing with CP3.
The Suns have become a team that can only win games if we’re shooting an outrageous % from 3. We have no other offense.

Yeah we need some offense that will get us some good looks that arent just drive n kick 3s. Should probly think about actually setting/using screens the right way instead of this fake screen stuff we do every time down the floor. Defensive rotations really need some buttoning up too.
We're really not playing that well the last 3 and tomorrow we're playing a real team, so Im not overly optimistic for that one. They can really show me something if they can come out and get a bounce back win tomorrow though.

Even Pistons fans laughing at our offense...says with just jacking up 3s like that we won't go anywhere in the playoffs.
