Will he get much more playing time after today's game?

I think so. He's already in the rotation so that should continue. Maybe a bump in mins up to 20-25.

Already has tied Tobias Harris career point high of 39 as a rook. Thats 3rd highest on the team with Embiid at 49 and Dwight at 45.

Small sample size of below average 3PT shooting. Based on his previous history and FT% it should have been clear he's a much better shooter than 29% 3PT would indicate.

No March Madness. Kentucky always has a player that rockets up the boards during the tournament, like Fox did. We got a gift.

Who is Coach Cal misusing this season after being a stud HS prospect? Just draft that guy whoever it is.

Man ... Maxey will be ( almost)everything we thought Fultz would be. We deserved this after Fultz's fiasco...

With that work ethic, great first step, god-like floater and improving shooting he will be an all star some day. His pullup game is solid.

Im ready to trade Ben, Maxey is our future at pg.

No one. Cal has given all his bluechip recruits the opportunity to run the show, to a fault, this year. BJ Boston needs another year, Terrence Clarke is a good player but not much of a shooter, Askew needs more time too.

I'm not sure Maxey was even misused at UK. He just happened to join the same year that Quickley (who has been balling out for the Knicks) and Hagans were running the show. You have to play all three and 2 of them were upperclassmen. He has the most FGA and second most 3FGA. That's also with Nick Richards and EJ Montgomery, two more upperclassmen, getting their shots.

"Quickley's been balling out"? He's played in five games, averages 6 points with a career high 16...are you sure he's balling out?

Kobblehead wrote:Just to clarify, I mean he has no jumpshot range (aka three point range). The free throw percentage in college points to his shooting potential, but both his three point shooting and mid-range shooting were very bad at Kentucky. He has a long way to go with the jumper.

But like I always say, scoring off the dribble is the only thing that matters offensively. So he can just keep doing what he does best while he gradually improves on his some of less-refined parts (shooting, passing).

Yes folks...our resident draft expert really said this TODAY!! :D

Classic post! Total gotcha moment! :emoji: :emoji:

Pat yourself on the back, I'll never recover from this ultimate takedown (that has nothing to do with my point about Maxey) !

The key to the Sixers' success lies in the hands of Shake Milton and Tyrese Maxey, not Ben Simmons.
