Covid News Impacting the Nuggets

Post#1 » by NuggetsWY » Sat Jan 9, 2021 6:57 am

ClutchPoints Report: Sixers & Covid

Sixers may have a major part of their team missing for the Nuggets game. With the number of players they are discussing, is the game likely to be canceled?

This will not impact Sixers-Nuggets game because game will be delayed to the mid-season week reserved for previously deleted games. (I guess)

The other covid news is related to game vs Brooklyn Nets. Seems that Durant will be back from his quarantine in that game.

I can't believe this game is going ahead and that Philly players can already play while MPJ is forced to do an additional 10 days

I think Game Will be postponed, especially after HOU - OKC case.

It is a pity as all relevant players from PHI will be in quarentine except Simmons.

What sucks is that team flyed to PHI already. They could have used the break for some so much needed training

Seems more and more teams getting affected by COVID, Taum in protocols for BOS, Embiid/Curry/Harris out of Nuggets game, Valancuinus out for Grizz.....maybe the Bubble needs to return ?

PHI is sitting Embiid and Simmoms as well, they have a GLeague roster.

Absolutely must win

GLeague or no, they shouldn't relax too much, they are all NBA players and those seven guys have absolutely nothing to lose.

The win is a win, even if the game more belongs to the COVID thread!

Malone will show all the doubters that his 4-guards lineup works even against a team with the currently best W-L record!

This counts as a loss for you guys, btw. Just talked to Adam Silver.

This win against Philly is certainly not something to brag about, but still happy they took care of business. A loss would've instantly made us the laughing stock of the league.

Apologies I didn't realize there was a game thread for the Philly game.

Considering you started your best Center against Jokic and a PG that can actually shoot your bench probably did better than your starters would have.

Well, if the losing team wants to troll a little - maybe I should point out that winning early in the season isn't as important as winning at the end - and perhaps Sixer fans ought to look at their "playoff" performance over the last five years. That'd be "not there" for two years and then two semifinals loses followed by a first round sweep. Meanwhile Denver is doing better each year.

Isn't there something about "glass houses" and "throwing stones"?

Not as good as Jokic gets your boy, which is why he is always ducking the Nuggets, every year.

 Not easy to do - you're fairly "conservative" - but then again, some of your posts are not so "conservative" :naaa: Do come back

Michael Porter Jr. has had coronavirus, Denver Nuggets coach Michael Malone says

So, it is official now. Let's hope he is fine and asymptotic. We should back into 2018 patience mode about him and not rush anything about his comeback.

Obviously we could have used his offense last night, if the Dr's say he can go, and he agrees I say let it happen. Who needs another Kyrie situation ?
