LaMelo should take more of those misdirection shots in the paint where defenders sag off him because he might pass

Has he even missed one of those? I know he missed a floater in his first game

He's just so crafty around the basket, I never would have imagined that he would be this good already
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

I agree LaMelo has given the team a huge lift. Just the energy he brings seems to motivate the team.

Congrats to the man, the pressure was clearly there when he needed that 1 assist but now that he has the record he can play easy again

I'm just so excited about his potential driving to the rim, I never saw that coming. Can you imagine when this dude adds strength and isn't a scrawny 19 year old rookie that still trips over his feet because of his growth spurt

When he bullied Trae Young for that one bucket it got me very excited for the future

LaMelo >>> Trae

We have a guy that impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Unlike Trae he doesn't have limitations that make it difficult to build a team around him.

I’m thinking he has a legit chance to be the best
Player in the league in a few years
Glad we have him
The winning timeline has been accelerated dramatically
If we can get a C in here this team will be dangerous

I'm gonna go with a legit chance to be a perennial All-Star, and should be the favorite to win ROY.
He isn't ever gonna be the type of shot maker like a Curry or Durant, but he has a complete game and it is so awesome that we've finally hit a home run on a draft pick...on a 19 year old 6'8 PG no less.

And as far as that whole shot maker thing...LaMelo's proved us wrong before.

I get what you mean but I’m thinking that in a few years the Lebrons, Currys and Durants will be gone
Luka and Lamelo (Ja, Fox, wiseman, college kids etc) could be the top dogs
Granted he still has a lot of work to do
But, the passing and rebounding is amazing for a skinny rookie

Dude is **** good. I feel like he is a perfect match for Borrego's style too, he's just perfect for what we're trying to do.

Finally hit a homer (maybe)
PJ and Bridges were good picks
Maybe Graham also

Everything just seems to come so easy for him. I saw this with Luka his rookie year. I'm not being a prisoner of the moment here If LaMelo got starter minutes he would average a triple double or very close to it.

The Hornets during the 90's and early '00s had guys who were legit stars like LJ,ZO,Rice, and then Baron Davis. All of those guys were superstars during their time in Charlotte. It looks like the Hornets have a guy who can finally be the successor to those guys. Obviously Lamelo is not there yet but he looks like he has potential to be a superstar.

LaMelo is a delight. I honestly think we found our franchise player. He trajects to be an all star by his 2nd season atleast and has gotta be in the lead for ROY.

Pure joy and love for what he's doing. Some things just can't be made a stat.

(Honestly worried he was all hype coming in. Hope he keeps proving me wrong.)

Guys I'm scared. I think we may have possibly selected the best player in the draft this year and I've never experienced that. Even though it's early LaMelo is clearly going to be a special player.
