I am so impressed with Pat because as a rookie being so young, is being asked to guard the best player night in and night out. I also give credit to BD for bringing him along at a pace that benefits everyone.

After 10 games he’s shooting 42% from 3. It’s early but that is a a really good sign. Also 85% from the FT line.
His D will become game changing in the future. That 4th quarter on Lebron was beautiful

I see the limitations with his handles, but otherwise, his defensive awareness and shooting touch are amazing. LaMelo, Edwards and Hali are more flashy and polished today, but in the long-term, you’ve got to feel confident in PW’s mix of athleticism, size, skills and smarts.

I'm not buying it yet but I understand why some people are throwing out the comps to Jimmy Butler. But here's to Pat Williams continue to develope.

He's an absolute stud. Calm, no confidence issues, playing with men already.

Really liking his game through these first 10 games of the season. I wish he would resort less to pull-up mid range jumpers, but no doubt it's a useful weapon to have on his arsenal.
Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

He definitely plays with a lot of moxie. It's easy to forget he's one of the youngest in the league sometimes.

I think he's gonna be really good in two or three years. Until then he just needs to continue to develop and hopefully have some normal offseasons for development. He will get more run next season without Porter here and will likely have a larger role in the offense in year 2.

Kawahi not Butler.

Everybody talks about his huge hands.
Compares him to Kawhi.

I like what I'm seeing so far. Rather than Kawhi or Jimmy, his game reminds me more of a young Otto Porter.

I am really excited to see him get a full offseason. These rookies are all really impressive with how little prep time they have had to get NBA ready. Maybe playing without a crowd has made the transition a bit easier? But as a whole they've been really good.

I don't think it's going to take him 3 years to be good. He's showing a lot of flashes now.

I've seen people comparing Pat to a young Jimmy Butler, also.

Only because he plays for Chicago. He is significantly bigger than Butler and way more skilled at same age. Where he is now is probably where Butler was at 23 years old as far as development.

I'm loving what I've seen so far. It seems like we finally have the makings of a 2-way player, and a big wing too.

the good news is, if the shot is for real then he doesn't have to spend future offseasons working on that, and he can focus on developing his handles. if he could just make, like, a jaylen brown-level jump on that front it would be pretty big for his game
